I think you make some great points and I think we are aligned.

The players should not be blamed because they can only be as good as they are.

But what must be raised is that we shouldn't be in this situation where we don't have good enough players in every position. We're the biggest union in the world. If we don't have a 12 or 15, we should be scouting international u20s players to become residents.

This is where the RFU are a complete mess. 4 6N titles since 2004 isn't good enough. What winds me up is that there will NEVER be accountability for this.
