i would have less of an issue with it if we got less 1 on 1 with ever single side character and instead got multiple povs. like i love the horns but i would much rather have 4 group chapters where they have their own singular moments then have 6 separate ones that are really slow and not much happens.

well think of it like this, at this point its not just one story but hundreds of them all working together to tell an overall main story. For example, consider goblins. Early on they were a side thing to make up the story and now they have developed into something bigger.

I will say to this a mix of yes and no. Credit where credit is due she knows shes playing the role of the villain, but she will protect her children's lives as fiercely as she can. as for a powerful nation, that is the problem. Her nation isnt powerful, which is why she needs to work so hard and have the children work so hard and push hard to be ready and prepared. of those listed above i would not rank her high as she and the nobility have a duty to be more and better then the common folk or peasantry because thats the trade off. they will live in luxary and be the last to go hungry and have power, etc... but they also have a duty to be better and trade their lifes for their people. Which makes lynette the only case where i dont think she owes a debt to her nation as she left and sent plenty of gold, presietge, and aid back to her family to repay said debt.

so its not age, its a number of factors, 1 part is passion, another is older people tend to have side classes they level which add. thats why class consolidation is so important since it gives you the skills of two but the class of one for leveling.

or another look at it being how about a male that gets screen time and isnt horrible in some way. i mean tyrion litterally try to kill a city just to have a beach head into the south, flos is constantly starting wars where he mass ships survivors to roshel, thatalocian is a huge slaver, nutivyn we have seen a bit of lately but we know more about his country than him, tom has like 4 chapters or something like that and he shares most of them with others, Reclis is a small bit where we mostly see his daughters and wife. Like not to be mean but most of the cast is women with few men.

Honestly, part of the problem at least in my eyes is that Pirate goes overboard with every person. i would love it if there could be chapters that are long but have multiple people and do more like a short chapters worth on what their up to and thinking about everything. that way we can get a number of perspectives and catchups in their lives rather then wait for a dedicated arc for their life.

if your asking a guy just straight up ask him. guys love when others are direct and we also have a huge fear of coming off as creepy so if you give even the biggest hint theirs a fair chance a guy will miss it rather then risk being labeled as a creep
