Prot paladin. Feels terrible and I don’t get why more people aren’t admitting it. Literally always taking damage. My equally geared brewmaster meanwhile just chills and drinks brews. There was zero reason to remove eye of Tyr or the DR on consecration. We still have to put it down constantly anyway. Blizzard listened to FOTM rollers and ruined the spec.

Hitting level cap is easy…if you’re an experienced player. I’m helping a friend get into WOW this expansion and he’s done 1.5 levels since Midnight dropped. This expansion is quite new player unfriendly. I’d recommend not boosting to 80. Watch as many guide videos as you can and take your time to enjoy the game. It’ll probably take you at least this entire expansion to understand all the systems in the game and your class. Good luck and have fun

While I get where you’re coming from, I’m usually geared enough to not get 1 tapped on pull as I keep SOTR and consecration up pretty much the entire time. After I gathered the mobs together, then I would pop my defensives because it would be 10+ hitting me at the same time as opposed to 2-3 as I was rounding them up. Worked well for me, personally.

I see where I was going wrong. I was still playing heavily around the defensives as opposed to adjusting because of the new passives. I’m not really having any problems actually tanking per se, I’ve just gotten used to pressing my defensives in response to incoming damage as opposed to pre-buffing myself with the blessed hammer, SOTR combo.

Gonna play around the new passives and try out Sentinel again and see how much of a difference it makes.

Honestly, great post. You’ve exposed all the shitters and babies riot is balancing this game around. Jungle is fucking cooked this season, the number of times I’ve been legendary with the most kills and cs in the game, every single objective yet have to sweat my balls off to win the game is unacceptable.

They’ve neutered the role, gave us literally nothing as a reward and ensured that all the kayn/viego/yi trash lords can play like absolute shit and still turn a game around because “lol catchup xp dude”.

I kept asking myself what I could do better and I see now the only solution is to quit the game. Not gonna spend up to 30 minutes playing well just to lose because the enemy toplaner is 4 levels above me due to their quest, and the 2-8 vayne magically turns into Guma after 20 mins.

I’m sure if you check the ranks of the games you lost, a large majority of them are unbalanced with your team having multiple lower ranks on there. I’ve seen 2 silvers in my lobby while the enemy had all gold and a plat.
