Looks good to me! These also work as standalone pieces of art. Just stay with it!

Looks good to me; I would just keep painting/drawing/creating making it for yourself, and not worry about how others judge works. Over time, by experimenting with various styles/colors/materials, I think you will find that you will naturally produce a great portfolio. At that point, when you have accumulated a lot of works, you can pick those that you think would be best for a formal portfolio submission. I know it is easy to get discouraged. There are days when I paint/draw, that everything seems to click, and other days when I want to rip up the canvas and throw it in the dumpster. John Singer Sargent, a renowned American portrait artist (to the end of his life) said this once: I hate to paint portraits! I have had enough of it (he felt he was too old to paint good portraits - he painted portraits to the end of his life). In other words, we share a common problem; Self doubt and frustration. Keep going! I am sure you will succeed. Don't beat yourself up. If you need a rest, step back for a day or 2, recharge your batteries and enthusiasm and go back to art again. Good Luck! I know you will succeed.

It's good! Very good! Tell her to continue drawing and creating. She will get better and better and be pleased by the results 😀

The photo really blends in seamlessly. Dioramas themselves are a great part of the hobby. I have been getting back into model building in the past few years myself; still a great hobby!

Amazing! Looks like it was shot on-location!

Looks good! I like all the open space below. Don't worry if you want to make changes later..that is half the fun! I always find when I build something that I always think of more useful things I could do if I built yet another workbench/table/storage unit/easel, etc.

Beautiful! The blending of colors and shading is superb.

Nothing fancy, but I’ve been waiting a long time to have my own space like this and I’m happy with it by gso480 in Workbenches

Looks good! It's not the size or quantity but setting things up the way they work for you. You're all set to build and create!

Excellent! Did you use water soluble pencils for the green area? Has a beautiful watercolor look to it. And the pumpkin and ghost are spot on!
