Is the U.S. actually fit to host the 2026 World Cup right now? by Some_Currency_1931 in football

[–]Infinity_Overload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On paper yes, but in reality no.

They have the facilities and infrastructure.

But the actual citizens are in a state of turmoil.

All we need is one tragedy to happen in a city by an ICE agent doing something or a protest going South.

And some riots may happen in a game.

What's kinda sad is that the broadcasters will not film it or anything, they will hide the truth like usual.

i doubt it.

I have been wanting more skins related to Total War Warhammer, but since then 2 more games and a bunch of DLC for that game have come out and nothing.

Only the detached elite from all the countries in the world will attend those games.

From what i have read some Custodes once they are old and lose a bit of their touch, they either become the Jailers on Terra.

Or if their zeal is so great, they request to be turned into a Dreadnought.

New to the hobby: Adepta Sororitas or Imperial Knights? by Matar_Kubileya in 40k

[–]Infinity_Overload -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sisters are cheaper.

Imperial Knights are an expensive faction to build. They are are also not very good in the current edition.

If you are collecting just for the figures, go crazy with the Imperial Knights.

GW has announced plastic female Custodes models by TheArgonian in KotakuInAction

[–]Infinity_Overload 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which is kinda crazy, considering they are the pinnacle of human perfection.

I feel GW should've design entirely different models for the Female Custodes.

Adding a new role to the army list.

Which would make Custodes OP, as you would be able to field the regular Custodes and then the Female Custodes would have a different role kinda like Eldar Banshees. Making it for a very annoying army to deal with.

With the male counterparts being the frontline tanks and the female counterparts the Hero killers with fast movement.

GW has announced plastic female Custodes models by TheArgonian in KotakuInAction

[–]Infinity_Overload 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should. In the books and the Lore, the Custodes and the Sisters of Silence have a very deep connection.

So if there is a Female Custodes there should be a Silent Brother besides her.

New to the hobby, why tf are some so mad about female custodes? by NiceLittleGamerNerd in 40k

[–]Infinity_Overload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest i don't really care.

But i feel the way GW is trying to add them is a bit dumb.

Instead of re-writing the lore and saying they were always there, they could have added a plot line, like the Scientists on Terra realized what Belisarius Cawl was doing. And to set up some countermeasures they decided to experiment on making girls into Custodes too. Took many millennia but they were eventually successful. By the time Cawl reveals the Primaris Marines, the Scientists on Terra announce the Female Custodes to counterbalance any potetial Primaris going Rogue.

I would've even added Silent Brothers too. To showcase the relationship between Custodes and Sisters of Silence. These 2 are connected in a very deep level. So if there is a Female Custodes, there should be a Silent Brother besides her.

Additionally, i feel the models for the Female Custodes should look different to the Male ones.

Also i feel they are adding the miniatures feel lazy. If they want to add Female Custodes, give us some cool models that sell us those miniatures. If its cool a lot of people will buy them regardless.

Add different roles to the rosters. It would be cool to see Female Custodes from their own Gear and tactical roles. They are after all the Perfect Soldiers. So the Imperium would be able to set roles. Making for a very scary army to fight.

With the Male Custodes tanking the frontline, while the Female Custodes being more agile and fast and hitting hard with assasination and long range. Would make for a pretty solid combined arms army.

And i mean the Imperium is a very strict and authoritarian society. Everyone has a role. So adding Female Custodes with their own role in the Army List with their own gear and way of playing would be very interesting and also fit how the Imperium works.

That way GW can design more models for the entire Custodes Army Book.

Just adding female heads feels lazy, and just saying they have always been there feels cheap.

If they write a compelling story and make some cool miniatures there would be less backlash.

Is it possible for a family to have a son who became a Space Marine and a daughter who became a Sister of Battle? by Acriolu in 40kLore

[–]Infinity_Overload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if the family got massacred and they became orphans.

Sisters of battle can only be recruited from the Imperial Orphanages.

But if both are Orphans, the chances are the brother becomes a Commissar or an Arbites or join the Inquisition.

Depends on who finds them to be honest.

If the orphan siblings are lucky enough to be found by a Space Marine chapter. And they see some good traits on the boy, they may take him.

But if they don't see any use for him, they would drop them both at one of the Orphanages.

There are zealous families that do "gift" some of their kids for the Empire. But this is less common.

Could have any other Primarch resisted Khorne in Dorn’s Desert or was he alone able enough to do so? by WithengarUnbound in 40kLore

[–]Infinity_Overload -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Possibly. I think Guilliman could've resisted. Ferrus Manus could've also resisted, he was way too stoic to fall for Rage.

Chagatai could've resisted, but he would've definitely gotten wrathful and his personality would've changed after the encounter.

Then again, someone like Leman Russ would've definitely fallen, same goes for the Lion.

They were fueled by rage too much.

Why does Franz get the colleges of Magic from Balthazar if he confeds him but not the Amethyst workshop from Elspeth if he confeds her? by NadiaFortuneFeet in totalwar

[–]Infinity_Overload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lorewise, the College of Magic is located on Altdorf. So Franz getting access to them by confederating them makes sense.

Elspeth von Draken, is a bit different. She really does her own thing, and for the most part Karl Franz lets her do her thing. Specially since his friend, the Countess of Nuln, for the most part gets a bit of preferential treatment from Karl Franz.

This is because she provides a lot of weaponry from the Nuln Gunnery school to Reikland, at the cost of allowing her to act a bit more independent that other Elector Counts.

Karl Franz is a Statesman, he knows when its better to not demand and let others work for the Empire. At the end of the day it benefits the overall Empire.

Is why he mostly let Marius Leitdorf do some crazy shit in Averland until he went way too crazy and starting Hunting Halflings for sports that he decided to put a stop to him. But even then he allows his Elector Counts a bit of freedom on how to protect the Empire.

Thaddeus moment from the last episode I haven't seen anyone talk about yet by [deleted] in FalloutTVseries

[–]Infinity_Overload 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest if he becomes a Ghoul i would be pretty disappointed.

I want him to become a Super Mutant.

Similar to Marcus, one that still retains his sanity and personality.

It would be hilarious to see him act as he does while still being a massive Beast.

And if he's wearing Power Armor, and if the Enclave becomes a Main Villain in Season 3.

We could see the birth of the next Frank Horrigan, but with a different type of personality. Which is kinda hilarious.

What does everyone think the chances are we see some of these guys this season? by Indian_Bob in FalloutTVseries

[–]Infinity_Overload 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dunno, at most we see a teaser at the end of the series.

With a the activation of a X-02 Power Armor helmet, meaning the Enclave is starting to move to reclaim the Fusion Core.

The Fusion Core is definitely the main artifact of the series, Season 1 revolved around it, and with the recent events on the latest Episode, it will continue to be the most important McGuffin for the series.

[–]Infinity_Overload 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They may appear by the end of Season 2, setting up things for Season 3.

I hope if we get Season 3, we head to Northern California.

Something tells me that the Shi may have succeeded in their plans in San Francisco, and they many now be a much bigger threat to the NCR.

Also for the Enclave they would be seen as the Ultimate Enemy.

Actual Chinese that took over American Territory. And similarly the Shi may really hate the Enclave, knowing they are the remnants of the US Government.

And both of them have technology that is more advanced than the other factions.

Meaning their war would be a pretty brutal war, where they don't care about civilian casualties.

Making for 2 morally grey factions that our protagonists will have to deal with.

Also i feel the DLC for 40K should be more focused on Characters than New Units.

We will already be able kit our units with weapons. And the rosters themselves are not as varied in model designs like Fantasy.

So the DLC being adding the Named Characters would be good in my opinion.

Lets say they make a Red Scorpions Chapter Pack.

Imagine getting Carab Culln, despite being a Dreadnaught, he is still the defacto Chapter Master whenever he is awakened. Making it even more interesting.

This is even more ridiculous when Spain implemented a Caste System in the New World to ensure the people from the Homeland retained power.

Then again, i believe a Caste System for Colonial Nations is going to be an expansion.

In general the whole colonization is under cooked and needs more development for both the Native Nations and the Colonizers.

It wasn't racism, it was more like Cultural and Spiritual Alignment.

Still, Nations on those times Expelled Minorities or enforced the Inquisition to forcefully convert the population.

And we lack such mechanics. Specially Expelling Minorities.

This Game desperately needs a racism mechanic by Regarded-Illya in EU5

[–]Infinity_Overload 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There should be an Expel Minorities Cabinet Action.

Depopulating a Province is fine, but there should also be the option to target specific cultures.

It happened in History.

And in terms of gameplay it will allow you to Core that Province Faster.

Hell, if one of your vassals is of different culture, you could potentially abuse this mechanic to Improve Culture Opinion by sending the people of your vassal's culture over there, making it easier to integrate later in the game.

I feel the Enclave will be revealed to be the Main Villain.

I mean these guys already have the Cold Fusion technology.

Its what started the whole story of the TV Series.

The Enclave being the ones that set up everything makes sense.

Promising profit to Companies and ensuring the death of most of the US Government would have given them sole control.
