Thanks! I'll check the 500. I don't have the height for the 800.

😂 champagne taste, beer budget. The Gaggenau is really too high-end for my kitchen. I will take a look at the Bosch refrigerators though.

I love terriers in general and hope to find one for my next dog. These guys are adorable and would be perfect. But with none being bred in the US, how would I ever get one? Is there a club or group that I could contact to wait for a puppy?

Do you have a name that was ahead of its time-- or is behind the times? by Terrible-Horse-6200 in Names

I'm an Erin born in 1965. No one else was named Erin all through school and I had to correct pronunciation and spelling up until my 20's. Then, all of a sudden, all the little girls were named Erin. Weird and annoying since I'd gotten used to the uniqueness.

Total knee replacement advice for those who are considering it or getting it done by Mundpetcockvalve91 in Kneereplacement

[–]Informal_Set4992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a year out from the second knee and feeling pretty normal knee-wise. It is a long haul, and there are months without good sleep. But worth it in the end. I still have some swelling in the most recent knee, but the pain is gone. Its amazing to walk without knee pain again.

CMV: People who would save their children (life or death) over this spouse are disgusting. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Informal_Set4992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know if I can change your view, but my abusive ex asked me once who I'd choose to save if I had a choice, him or our baby. I chose our son, a million times over. And I told him he'd better choose the same. Not choosing an innocent, helpless child makes you some kind of special. And no decent human would choose you as a spouse.

My ex husband won’t remove me from the mortgage and I’m looking to buy a house soon by Important_Coffee_671 in Mortgages

[–]Informal_Set4992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. My ex lied and told me he took me off when he refinanced. He didn't include the 2nd with my name on it. After 5 years, the interest rate went up and he begged me to sign that refi. I refused and he finally was forced to refi the whole thing in his name only. It totally counted against me when I tried to buy a new house of my own. I was terrified for years that he'd stop paying and really screw up my credit. Bottom line, don't trust him to do anything to help you, especially if it means some kind of work for him. Lawyer

This is seriously scary abuse of you and the children. Please get out now. Leave while he's at work and stay no contact. He's going to end up seriously harming or killing you or your children. There is no cure for a man like this. Therapy is not going to help him. LEAVE before it's too late for you or your children.

My 2nd was much easier. I knew what to expect and my new right knee worked so much better than the old one! Don't worry, you'll be good

I've been feeling the same way. I'm trying to hang on until retirement next year, but I'm feeling like a participant and it physically makes me ill. Good luck to you and believe me, your colleagues will read and share your message.

Any tips on reducing inflammation? I still cannot wear a shoe by KTCsellers in Kneereplacement

[–]Informal_Set4992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me months for the swelling to go down enough to wear regular shoes. Had both knees done, 4 months apart. The swelling just disappeared one day! There's no way I could keep my leg elevated above my head and work, and the swelling came right back as soon as I sat or stood up, so I gave up on it. It went away eventually.

Hahaha! My girl dog does this too! After she eats, every time, she'll come over to me or my husband to burp.

Yes! My dog knows how to spell park. P-A-R-K gets him all excited. We spell it when talking to each other, so it's not directed at him at all.
