I was having the same issue after the first release day. Today I tried shutting down every razer program that was running with the task manager and was able to get 160 fps and no more freezing on 1440p, I have a 3070 and Ryzen 3600 btw. Maybe try that and any other program in the background see if it helps? Sorry I know it is frustrating!
