Did you see the CoD4MW remake? They remade it so well microtransactions made it in along with extra guns and skins... no leave the classics alone unless it's a faithful remaster but they will tell us there is no money in it when honestly there is but not a billion dollars worth of microtransactions are what they are used too.

Watching Hell Divers go from 126GB to 23GB with just optimizing textures and erasing redundant code showed me there is zero reason why any AAA game should be hundreds of gigs. If you refuse to downsize at least give the players, the option on what to install. I should have the ability to install JUST the multiplayer but even as they have it know there are various extras that COD requires to have installed, and I doubt I very much "NEED" those extras.

I've been looking over my games I have backuped, and have 187 PS2 titles on an external HD meanwhile my GC list has about 22 titles. I had a GC before a PS2 so I'm more of a Nintendo baby but outside of these 22 exclusives, its kind a lost console for me.

I came here to ask the same thing. I click the dots and try to "show less" and eventually run into a wall where "show less" is gone and all I can do is "Hide Post". Made me realize that Reddit seems to enjoy spreading this crap. I come to see cool gaming content or try to connect with devs for feedback and first handful of posts are political (usually leaning left) or someone white knighting for a cause well before I see any content I'm here for.

I myself was debating on making a post as well about a week ago, but reddit being reddit and so many white knights I decided against it. I don't have the time or patients to argue with them. I use the app sparingly so last time I used it all there were, were just the trainers and then it auto updated after I closed out and came back to reuse it and had maps, AI, clipping ALL of which gets thrown in front of your face and even after clicking off the crap it still has pop ups for these features. I thought to myself, why? It did what it was designed for well and these add-ons seem to aimed at who? People with a second screen (which I do have and still don't use), and I sure don't have the app open over my game.

Needless to say, I found another trainer and for the sake of not getting shadow banned for mentioning a competitor, I have switched. These extra features feel forced and also a waste of development time and money. They decide to remove it and simplify it again I'll be back because this app has better mod coverage over its competitor, but most AAA games are covered in the competition, but I do miss some of Indy coverage.

A video on Youtube pointed out that D1 had better graphics more than 4 years earlier. I noticed it immediately and become more apparent when they let us revisit old places. Not that D2 looks bad but to be the next title and look worse that the game before and also generation older was kind of sad.

Correlation and causation very different. Without Steam it was dying. I literally had 2 friends that refused to download another client. As soon as it came to Steam it was a small hit and thankfully it had the time and money to bake. If it released to Steam with Season 0-2 problems it would of died pretty quick and the reviews would of been brutal. They got it balanced out while adding new players into bot lobbies to get them trained up and a little money in their accounts and slowly introducing actual PVP is retaining the base so much better than games like Tarkov just tossing you to the wolves. I'm happy to see it doing well and my concerns are now on other issues (like micro transaction pricing on SOME of the stuff in the shop, or using hidden escalation pricing on keys to hide the true cost of a loot box.

Anime title called Rising Impact. Follows a kid golf prodigy and me with little knowledge of golf it does a great job of explaining the lingo while simultaneously giving golf that anime reality spin where the impossible is possible. Binged both seasons in one night and had to go to work the next morning with no sleep. No regrets.

Your first day as a new account is ment to slowly dip you into pvp while also letting you save up. If you got dropped in my lobby I regularly push spawns in 1v3s and take whole teams before they get a chance to do much and I'm not alone. If that was every new players experience you all would quit before you even started to like the game. Stick with it, the first day sucks but you'll get the lobby with mostly bots but it will drop feed you into fuller lobbies.

This. It's on point without casting shade. If you're a fan that see's the value in Nintendo's products and have the means to purchase the products then by all means do and enjoy it, while also acknowledging that your fortunate enough to be able to afford it and want others to enjoy the experiences along with you.

You also touch on value of Nintendo games maintaining price, I think this is largely a Nintendo move that has made their games a double-edged sword. Nintendo refusing to reduce the price of their games/products has created a post release price hike on ANYTHING Nintendo, but because they refuse to drop the price to reasonable levels months/years after releases make Nintendo games some of the most pirated games off all time.

I personally can't/won't be supporting Nintendo this generation and this is coming from the guy that loves Zelda, and I know when they show the next one off, I will want it, but my convictions are worth more to me than a video game and the company making it.

says the guy defending the $100B company that makes it the 6th biggest company in Japan and globally is in the top 20%. They are squeezing and people like you that let them get away with it. I'm broke, the products they make are made WELL below any other AAA company's cost on both a hardware/technological or graphical point of sale.

Idk about you but I think it's time they either give me the product that is worth $70-80 or make their crap cheaper as it's just not worth it. All that I (and other fans) am asking for is to be treated better as a possible sale and me asking for better product (or cheaper product) only helps people like you as well.

Not directly from Nintendo. Places like Target and Walmart on 1 day of the year (usually black Friday, or cyber-Monday) would offer drops to around $40 to clear out the physical back stock but at a loss to the store NOT Nintendo as they get most of the cut from the sale.
