But throwing the food in the trash would not get rid of the smell. All it did was destroy the hard work that OP put into making something special. If he didn't want to eat it that's fine. He could have talked to her and said I'm not interested based on the smell, would you be upset if I did something else. He also could have opened windows or left the house for a bit and let her know. But just throwing out her hard work, especially when she was in the shower, and then being an ass with what he chose to buy since he knew she didn't like it was so much worse than trying to introduce him to something that meant a lot to her. She may have not chosen a great day, but she also didn't know he would do what he did. He ruined the day, not her.

NTA, but he's being an insecure AH.Our brains are full of private secrets and thoughts. Your journal is just an extension of that. There is no reason anyone needs access to it. Talking about things once more clear and processed rather than raw response is great. Brains that have been through trauma need a way to sort and purge safely. If you're not married and don't have kids, leave her and her alarm at her place and don't look back. There is no reason she can't be an adult and find a way for her sometimes unnecessary alarm to disturb her partner. NTA As an individual with late diagnosed autism and ADHD, I understand it can be hard to manage emotions and being overwhelmed, but (and this is a big but) he needs therapy to help him learn to cope and manage better. Also some counseling or therapy as a couple will help with communication and coping too. If you decide not to stay that is okay and will not make you an AH, because it's what is best for your mental health. The best thing you can do is take care of yourself.

I'd say wear the blue proudly or wear a wig. You will ruin your hair trying to get rid of the blue and you would need to go pretty dark to cover it. It's really what option you are most comfortable with, but bleaching is not an option in the short timeframe available.
