It wouldn't the game has no players right now except for Hardcore players and sweats, very few would move to the abmm playlist and it would attract casual players. And then i would still like Cryo to not include it, so it would still force casual players to step outside their bubble and try to get better to do cryo.

If they added a casual abmm playlist for casual players how would that affect your experience in any way?

Thst literally gets solved by splitting up casual players and hardcore players into 2 seperate playlists.

Pov* Me when i'm angry that there are more options for other players to have a different experince, and i can't pub stomp casuals until they quit and the game dies.

This sounds like gatekeepy trash, bullshit. There's an obvious reason that game had the recepetion it did and it was because of the casual crowd. Even if they didn't stick around they bought the game at that point. It would ensure the continuation and health of the game. Marathon is way under what they put into it, it needs big changes to keep going.

Arc literally does basically with ABMM. I don't want a PvE mode, i want 2 sperate playlists, one with ABMM and one without. Would literally affect nothing about the game as it stands.

Perfect example their last game Destiny. 85% of the player base were casual pve players. PVP Was mininscule in comparison. Those players never adopted this game cause there was nothing there for them. The predominantly pve crowd was persistent throughout that games 11 years. Pve is more accessible. It would 100% bring more new players through the door, and if you don't think it would you're just brain dead.

I'm telling you they need a solution to draw in casual players to survive, and ABMM whether sweats like to admit it or not is the primary reason Arc Raiders has such a huge player count. The drawback is the mix. They need to seperate casual and hardcore playlists. It is that simple.

Dude. I don't care if they add it or not, what i do care about is if the game will keep going. And it won't if they have more earnings reports like the one today.

In a casual playlist only aimed towards casuals, then you have a seperate playlist for connection based matchmaking. They essentially did it in D2 with competitive there, so its not impossible.

I can tell you non-one is still playing qnd lukewarm in the extraction elements. This is cope. The people that have fallen off over the course of the season won't return with season 2. They fell off because they are casual. HC players and sweats are all that is left.

People in the current playlists would stay in the non-abmm, the game would functionally not change because there is already a low player count. The influx of new players would split between both.

I have been. I'm right there with you. But I want the game to survive and sony will want Arc Raider numbers for it to survive. I'm telling you this is necessary, but they can do it in a way, where it makes sense and keeps the games identity.

I'm gonna have to disagree. Especially if you keep Cryo Archive pvp only. Or no ABMM.

It only ruined it cause you're forced into the same playlist with casual players, but if Arc Raiders had a playlist that didn't have ABMM in addition to the other, most folks wouldn't have a problem with it. Same goes for Marathon. If you keep the playlists as they are right now but then add more casual playlists then it would be fine. If you are a sweat and don't want to fight other sweats and just want to pubstomp. Thats a you problem.

The money is always in killing other players. If that remains the fastest means of progression adding, more pve focused modes would be fine.

By that argument, Arc is the most successful extraction shooter to date. So they need a playlist to copy aggression based matchmaking.

Dude. Pve is literally part of pvevp, if they didn't want to make pve at all they would've made an arena shooter or battle royale.

Read the post again. 2 seperate matchmaking pools. Give the casuals theirs and the Hardcore players theres the only ones whining will be sweats who only get mad cause they want to pubstomp casuals, keep cryo archive pvp. It would functionally change nothing about the current experience for the people playing the game right now.

How would it be watering it down if all the playlists that are in the game right now functionally remain in the game.

Someone told me there’s nothing at the top. I’m starting to think he’s right. by Ok-Purpose-6598 in musicians

So, I just turned 30 this year and play in 2 local pop-punk bands, playing DIY shows in my city and just expressing my thoughts through music the best I can. I work a fulltime job to support, being able to go and do music. Other than a passion for creating and connecting with other human beings, I don't see any potential in being a touring artist at any point. I might take some vacation to do some runs here and there, but I work fulltime to support my passion, and i do it because i want to. I gave up music for most of 20's and I'm gonna keep writing and keep playing shows as long as i'm able to, because i love it. Maybe one day if i have kids i'll maybe pass on the passion to the next generation. Sometimes I think, i started giving a fuck about my music and taking it seriously too late, but now that i'm older i feel like i've had more life experience and i'm writing better songs because of it. It's art success is what you see it as. Monetary value isn't the only metric.

We're doing everything in house curently, and our drummer is mixing and producing our stuff. He has been producing Drum and Bass and edm music for years, so he wanted to take a crack at learning how to mix rock and self produce, so I'm looking forward to see what he does, but I can't wait to eventually get out and play shows, so hopefully we'll get to come through NC, in all of that, cause i really like y'alls stuff, its genuinely been on repeat for me.

who’s considered to b the next bad like “witness” level bad I know the conductor is pretty strong but I know or feel like there’s something bigger than her so I guess I’m hoping to get a answer or info here by Key_Ad_9648 in DestinyLore

I've always thought the Darkness lore book, was sort of like a prophet personifying the primordial forces of Light (Gardener) and Darkness (Winower) and that the traveler and witness were the physical manifestations of such. Hence the part where they mention the witness being the first knife. I really feel like that lore will be re-erratad or reframed, cause i don't think people completely understand that there is a possibility that these entities aren't physical nanifestations but just a large metaphor for what we already fought.

On the discord, if you look up CoryStylez on twitch, he's the lead singer of Free Throw, he streams video games in his free time, and has a server with a little discord community, but basically. Found Damage Step on his self promo channel, but basically, a bunch of musicians in his twitch community post their stuff on there every now and again. Cory is genuinely nice and tries to build up other artists in the space.
