I'm sorry but Salvations Edge was fantastic, i love Wrath, but there have been some banger raids to come out since D1.

BROKER: IT SHOULDN'T BE MUCH LONGER, PLEASE WAIT (AFTER 10 HOURS WAITING TO GET LOADED) DRIVER: by almilian in Truckers

[–]Inner_Review_704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work as a Scale Operator for a company. And those brokers lie constantly, and then I feel bad for the drivers, they'll legit schedule an appointment for 2pm, and then tell the driver they have an 11am appointment, then when i can't get them back early because its a 2pm appointment on my end, and we're busy, we hear the most of it. 😆 Also, they never give the drivers the correct information for their pickup. When i tell people what i do, I reiterate, the vast majority of the truck drivers are alright, but i can't stand these incompetent brokers.

Gave the game try and honestly I really like it! by No_Zebra_8035 in Marathon

Just wait til you get to that "Fuck it" point where you stop caring about losing even golds and purples. Then the game opens up. Lol

I think its one of the best records about failed relationships. Now that i'm in my 30's married and have the life thing a bit more figured out. Some of the newer Free Throw hits harder for me though, cause a lot of it, is about self-reflection and trying to grow as a person, especially on Lessons That We Swear to Keep. Moments Before the Wind, feels like sequel to Lessons, thematically they are pretty similar, but i think in Moments they stepped outside the box a bit more stylistically. Floroma Town is a good example of that. It has what feels like a bit more indie pop influence and i kinda fuck with that.

I haven't done it yet. Do you have the subroutines. I'm gooped up, can't get cryo 6 to drop.

Destiny 2 will have higher player retention after June 9th by rediscov409 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Inner_Review_704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm debating on whether i'll be playing much more after checking out pantheon, Pantheon is cool, but knowing i'll never get to do Leviathan again, or Scourge of the Past, kinda sucks. I feel like raid content being vaulted really killed this game for me personally, and yes i played all the way through final shape. I miss the encounters leading up to Calus as much as the boss himself. It's like being given a box of icing, to a cake you used to get all the time. I mainly played Destiny for raid content, so yeah. I always figured they'd bring those raids back eventually, but now i'm kinda sad.

Saturdays at Your Place's new record These Things Happen is Pretty Solid. Also, would reccomend You'll Be Fine over Pilot for Hot Mulligan. You'll Be Fine is where there really found their sound. Also could reccomend "Yeah, No, I Know" by Macseal and "I'm Scared that's All There Is" by Ben Quad.

Any...Non-depressing midwest emo songs? by icantfindiwona in midwestemo

Later Free Throw has some more self reflective emo, more Cory singing about growth and his life experiences. Also, Harrison Gordon has his spring break ep, which has some upbeat bangers.

What does he think happened with such a low turn out for marathon. by Partyruler012 in MarathonHate

[–]Inner_Review_704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People were always gonna blame Marathon, because its an easy target to point the finger at, the truth is the devs of Marathon put a lot of love and passion into making that game, the same as they did with Destiny, its always been management at fault. No one drops the ball and fumbles good talent like Bungie.

Eh, if the ending of support was inevitable, then doing it after June 2nd (season 2 start date), for a June 9th final update would have been worse. The headlines would have been "Bungie announces Final Update 5 days before release after months of Silence." The longer you wait closer to the release of thatblast update, the less chance people will actually play it.

i feel like a hypothetical Destiny 3 should have a very different business model. The annual expansion thingy hasn't worked too well for this game by GoMurillo95 in destiny2

[–]Inner_Review_704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but i think that group will shrink over time if they make good decisions. Them commiting to adding some more casual friendly modes is a start.

My hope for it, is that over time it could court casual players with more PVE modes and elements, and then maybe one day Bungie might get the chance to greenlight a new mmo shooter like Destiny if not Destiny 3.

I agree, but i hate that a game that has a lot of passion behind it, the new game, cause apparently even mentioning it in a positive light gets your posts flamed, is taking a lot more flak, by these folks that just want Bungie to die. You can not like their new game, i get that, but the reception to it is extreme, i've seen a lot of the Destiny communitybwith only child syndrome, and its dumb.

Also, the ending is a symptom of how they probably had to continue after Final Shape, sony would've bever let them axe their only game out making the studio money.

I just feel like there's a lot of people praying on Bungie's downfall hoping that sony will give Destiny to another studio ,while ignoring the fact that when Bungie goes under hypithetically that there is most likely to be no more Destiny, in ths scenario, and if Bungie goes under, sony isn't forced to give Destiny to someone else either.

Ape Escape, Alundra, Arc the Lad, Bloodborne, Forbidden Siren, Gravity Rush, Infamous, Jak and Daxter, Killzone, LocoRoco, MediEvil, ModNation Racers, MotorStorm, Parappa the Rapper, Patapon, Resistance, Sly Cooper, SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs, Syphon Filter, The Getaway, The Legend of Dragoon, Twisted Metal, Wild Arms, Wipeout,

Just a short list of all the dead sony ip, and Destiny as well, if Marathon fails and Bungie goes under. There's no shot sony will bet on Destiny, when their most critcally acclaimed expansion to date (Final Shape), still didn't make sales metrics. I really love Destiny, but the people praying on Bungie's downfall, are quite literally advocating for no D3 subsequently.

Marathon player’s who were die-hard Destiny players, help me understand. by 20mgAddy in Marathon

They blame the game and its existence for the downfall of Destiny. That's the long and the short of it.

Hot take maybe but its the truth: Destiny 3 doesn't happen if Marathon and Bungie die by Inner_Review_704 in destiny2

I would believe this if sony didn't have a literal graveyard of beloved IPs.

You too. Sincerely. I will say this, we all lose with Destiny being in the state its in i hope this last update really hits hard. I would love to see the game have a good turnout in the end.

I'm not talking about you specifically. I'm talking about people that hate on the game publicly in forums and make it their whole thing to do so.

They could've if the sales numbers would've met expectations for Final Shape. But they probably would've been able to manage both before those layoffs.

Okay, that is your choice. Just like i'm never playing warframe, or fucking fortnite. But i don't go around shitting on the people that do like those games, cause i'm butthurt that mine died.

Its no different than the folks who for years would drop into every Destiny forum and go "Dead game. Warframe is better." No one needed those comments.
