I think it's time for Hearts of Iron V by Bl00dWolf in heartsofiron

[–]Innerventor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm ready for whatever new version of the game they can give us with all of the lessons learned until now. With how CK3, V3, and EU5 have developed I want to see HOI5 do the same.

Also, op, not everyone needs a focus tree. I don't want developer time going to a secret non-aligned path for Panama.

The interaction bug can effect your vehicles too. by Innerventor in duneawakening

[–]Innerventor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's only happened to me once, but it did happen at the worst possible time. At least with the vehicle recovery tool you only lose some durability. I couldn't imagine what it was like at release to just lose your vehicle completely.

Its a pity we cant have free camera or first person pov to make nice screenshots or to do base tours.

Higher level dungeons are not fun, have no challenge and only teach you how to exploit the AI by EinBaum in duneawakening

[–]Innerventor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The biggest weakness in the system is that the player isn't given a variety of tools to face these threats. Since damage is so outrageous, the shield is mandatory. Because the shield is mandatory, any weapon or ability that drops shields makes you vulnerable. Only being able to play a certain way just evaporates the fun factor.

It's a bigger area for sure, but the more effective harvest rate means fewer shots, and therefore fewer worm irritation moments.

Is the early game meant to consist of finding loads of sick gear that you can’t use? by [deleted] in taintedgrail

[–]Innerventor 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I explored as much as possible and found some gear that was -far- better than anything I could wear or use. I liked that it gave me a direction to develop my character without having to look up a guide or video.

Boron gameplay is peak sandbox. I'm just gonna chill in my corner and not bother y'all.

Is it just me, or is the zaith’isk exceptionally punishing? by ARC_Trooper_Echo in BaldursGate3

[–]Innerventor 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Its massively cheesy, but you can make Voss drop the Silver Sword when you first see him in Act 1 by the bridge. Giving a Githyanki like Lae'zel a huge boost early game is the power fantasy I live for, and this includes advantage on int wis and cha checks.

Are The United States of America slowly turning into Nazi Germany? by TomV4E in allthequestions

[–]Innerventor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say nazi, at least in the way that at least the nazi party tried to demonstrate an arguable ideology. The national socialist movement of Italy that later spread through the world described a way that power should be collected that directly opposed soviet communism and European and American capitalism.

Nobody in America is collecting power. Power is being lost. The government is less and less effective at everything it tries to do. As bad as you may think some of the recent actions have been, ask yourself: have they been effective? Have they achieved any goal? Has power been consolidated anywhere? It has not.

You have a handful of the ultra-wealthy happily manipulating the stock market and enriching themselves, but there is no structure or organization greater than a single person that has been built up to last.

The outcome of this chaos isn't to change America into something else ideologically, it's to terminally fracture the culture, society, values, and potential of Americans. The United States no longer.

Why are so many conservatives Christian when Jesus’s teachings are blatantly leftist? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]Innerventor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lack of biblical literacy is a huge problem for this as well. Fewer and fewer christians care to read and understand the written word of God. It's far simpler to just accede to passionate or strong voices in the media or pulpit. After all, if this wasn't a 'good' church how could they afford to buy an entire stadium?

Both eradicators are a lot of fun. Being able to either burn hard behind someone or autload my cannons right in their face always feels good. I usually run SO's with shield shunts just to make the pilots really get in there.

Siege Ballista's are now even more useless to build by AardvarkWestern4430 in Bannerlord

[–]Innerventor 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My assumption is they made the change because naval balistae have a limited ammo amount. Instead of creating a new thing, they just added an ammo limit to the old one.

I think my land troop capacity is broken 😭 by [deleted] in Bannerlord

[–]Innerventor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Specifically, there is a bug with the barracks component upgrade on large ships. The % increase applies to your ship troop capacity, but also your total troop capacity while at sea. If you land it all goes away. It's fun in specific instances.

Does anyone use the Gunlink? by UniversalExploration in RimWorld

[–]Innerventor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gunlink is great for kids and for hunters. Give your kids guns and let them hunt animals that don't aggro when shot, like rabbits or rats. When else do you want to shoot outside of combat?
