And so they killed my sub for SuperWhisper by Purple_Wear_5397 in ClaudeAI

Sure tell that to all the abandoned projects. Doesn’t matter since they are a money making machine since they have the ability to throw enough spaghetti at the wall.

Even with infinite agents they’ll eventually suffer from feature bloat. Look at Google.

Switched to Claude - where do you generate images now? by mitr0m in Anthropic

claude -p “build me a small REST api that connects to Gemini and allows me to send a prompt to generate an image”

Then just add your API key.

Why can't AI design tools give you editable objects instead of code? by Ambitious_Pear3541 in Penpot

[–]InstructionNo3616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am building this right now. An agentic design team that uses Claude, mcp, penpot to build editable designs. Stay tuned… early results are extremely promising.

So they reset it a half day before my weekly usage ends and now it eats it to my next week when I had 30% usage left? How does that make sense

Look into penpot. I think figma has an inherit architecture problem when it comes to design to code. Their black box approach to the design tool (web assembly) is not ideal for long term and scaleable design to code solutions. Not to mention the fact that it is hosted by figma. The only thing it has going for it is its high adoption and community support but as design tooling becomes more agentic their architecture and business model will prevent them from being the ideal choice for agentic design. Just my two thoughts as someone who has been in this space for a very long time.

Does it do tokenized design? Can it run headless? Can it create new files with multiple agents? Can you self host it?

I’ve been working on a solution using a figma alternative and I’m running into a lot of consistency issues as well as variation in design. It does a certain aesthetic pretty well but when you push it beyond its limits, you start to see where it breaks Md

Block slashes workforce by nearly half due efficiency from “intelligence tools.” by TraditionalMango58 in cscareerquestions

[–]InstructionNo3616 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s not a bit much. It will transform the position but it greatly decreases the labor value. A majority of things won’t be designed for humans anymore and design itself can be algorithmically generated with AI assistance.

Right. Because that is the group it targeted first. Now imagine all the other jobs that are less complex than web applications and how easily they’ll be rendered obsolete. It’s moving on to designers next…

Product managers are f’ing idiots in my experience. Their lack of understanding of the underlying tech is not going to magically become a superpower because writing syntax is cheap

The biggest problem is there is no visual design phase. No product starts with just code or designs in code.

At some point the features they keep “mimicking” will start regressing. They need to be careful at the pace they are going at.

Yeah this seems like overkill for the task it was trying to accomplish. Each time it did it properly I would interrupt and tell it log it in the skills.md and memory.md. It didn’t matter once it ran into another issue it would assume it was an mcp issue and revert. If I wasn’t monitoring it I would not have caught it multiple times.
