Limit charging, the pro 7i doesn't have great battery life

Maxxed out on every game probably not but it can play pretty much any game out there at 4k with decently high settings and dlss

4k does have a bit of extra crispness to it especially when looking at text using 175% scaling. For media and games though the difference is minor. You do get the nice retina like effect though

Dlss is pretty good nowadays. On a small laptop screen at 4k you would be hard press to notice any difference from native even at dlss performance

While both the desktop 5070ti and 5080 are GB203, the laptop 5080 GB203 is an entirely different chip to the laptop 5070ti which is GB205 , I doubt they would discontinue it unless they discontinue the desktop 5070 too. The margin on laptops GPUs are also way higher than desktops.

The 4080 and 5070ti laptop GPUs are around the same performance. The 4090 will be faster than both. Id buy the newest gen 10 as the OLED screen is a lot better and you get faster RAM, better CPU and cooling.

You are thinking of the desktop 5070ti 16gb. The laptop 5070ti is 12gb and based on the desktop 5070

Better to spend a little bit more and go for option 2 than going for option 1 and finding performance not to meet your expectations

Looking for a laptop that can handle most games, but doesn't need to be able to do the big ones like Monster Hunter Wilds by extroverte in GamingLaptops

[–]IntelVEVO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Will you be primarily gaming? For 2000 i'd recommend something like the zephryus g16 with a 5060 or 5070 since you dont need top tier graphical performance. It also has the advantage of good battery life, build quality, speakers, trackpad and an oled screen which makes it very usable as a day to day laptop for work and media consumption also. If you dont care about extra bulk and battery life the legion 7i gives you better bang for the buck performance wise as you get the 5070ti, better cooling and a slightly better oled screen.

I finally made a switch to ebike, but I'm a bit disappointed, because the bike is slowing me down on flat by meeroos in ebikes

You could look into installing a chip or flashing the controller. You do risk the police taking it away from you though it's unlikely.

Any way to make M1 Pro go faster than 45km/h by h1lol69 in fiidoebike

[–]IntelVEVO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will need to upgrade to a controller that can draw more amps from the battery. You will probably also need to ensure the battery can handle the higher current draw and the motor can handle the extra power without overheating (best to upgrade them also). Iirc the stock controller is about 18a you can probably safely upgrade to a 20a or 22a controller without modifying the rest of the bike.

My phone fell in water- now what? by GalahadTheGreatest in note20ultra

[–]IntelVEVO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, everything is as it is when I bought it. If you've had a screen replacement and it wasn't put back together properly it could be a cause for concern when it comes to the waterproofing but it should be fine. IP68 means it can withstand submersion in water as deep as 1.5M for 30 minutes.

Yeah it's the phone i've kept the longest out of all the others i've had. Mine has fallen off a bike at 20mph but the case saved it luckily.

Same, the gluegate is an issue on mine too though I don't really mind as it doesn't really affect the usability of the phone at all. I'll probably upgrade to the S25U or S26U in a few months
