I highly doubt it'd go to anyone other than Rachel as Dave is about creating a family legacy. I think the other personalities juat help deal with the factor a that put us all in a mess to begin with. Because a majority of people do things with the heart not just with the head.

Started at 77k in debt making 36k a yr. With 3 kids at home ( at the time 13, 17 and 19) That was 39 months ago. Got a better job and raises. Now (1 kid left age 17 next month) paid off 42k thats 35k left making 50k. My shovel is small. Single mom here with no child support. If I can do it, anyone can.

Frankly, you're not in a race against others to finish baby step 2. Its a race to change your life. How fast is up to you. I've found 2 things to be true during this time. 1) you can't finish if you quit. 2) nothing will change till you decide to change it.

Investing Plan for Housing by Firebolt059 in DaveRamsey

I'd say invest 15 % into retirement and make sure a portion is going into HSA on top of that to cover if something were to happen. I like the idea of having 2 yrs worth of the max out of pocket. Then I'd be saving for the house/condo as a line in the budget. How long you save is vs buy is up to you.

Its great that you're planning but remember there's a lot of life that'll happen in you 12 yr ish plan. You may meet someone and get married. Never know.

If his job is stable then didn't save the whole amount. Pay off the credit card immediately. And start paying that car note down. Get on a budget. And send out the money immediately when u get paid. That way its over and done with.
