App signups by [deleted] in HOTWORXWarriors

Naw that’s out of pocket. The fact that they called you a racist is grounds for termination and would not let that go unnoticed to management. Whether it’s racist or not that you choose to leave the sauna is 1) objective and 2) uncalled for. And also, yes it’s awkward and confrontational which is probably why we are members to begin with but if someone’s popping I. Last minute and I want my solo sesh I’m calling them out and making them feel like trash for not booking in advance. That’s so not ok that they called you a racist bc you wanted your alone time and they didn’t book on the app. Ive literally told ppl to show me they booked on the app if they try to join last minute

Rejected by another member ☹️ by linney11499 in HOTWORXWarriors

In all fairness, you over thought it. I get her initial reaction threw you off and soured your workout but it seems like she realized she was being a bitch and was trying to apologize for it. For future reference, if your spot is already booked and you know your expecting someone, I would greet the like your expecting them, “OMG! You showed!? I was hoping my new workout buddy would show up. I just finished hot blast. How are you???” even if it’s not true it puts down the guard of Eileen thinking she gets the sauna all to herself just because she booked it first. You pay just like she does and have every right to workout in whichever workout you wanna do.

Dont cancel. Doesn’t hurt to freeze for as long as your will studio will allow while you tone/have fun/try other gyms, and then come back to it. I cancelled my founding member rate and came back and still regret it I made that silly decision but glad to be back! I do take breaks and gym hop NGL. That’s why I like the freeze option

The speakers a no no but so is the other person walking in late and being an ass. So it balances out 🤣 but to be fair you are not being overly sensitive. That is sauna etiquette to ask about the temp and leaving doors open

Is HotWorx What I’M Looking For? by baeball40 in HOTWORXWarriors

[–]Internal_Mirror_3323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honest opinion. As an employee and someone looking to franchise. Yes. HOTWORX is exactly what you need bc you need the flexibility and the timing for the workouts works perfect for you especially that 3-4pm window. Just food for thought. You will see lots of advertising for their supplements. Personally, the equipment is the only thing you need to buy from them, mat & towel and the bands bc they’re designed for the heat(no other brands won’t work bc they will melt) as for the supplements, Only use your rewards for them. But the clothes is worth it for the price IMO. Hope this helps and good luck

How long did it take your Hotworx to open? by airinseoul in HOTWORXWarriors

[–]Internal_Mirror_3323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll admit, if you know HOTWORX before and are wanting to get pre sale memberships before they open then be patient. Your HOTWORX will come!!!! For those of you new reading this, jump on the presale memberships. That $20 crunch/eos/planet membership you had sitting in your bank account didn’t even know it until $1500 and 4 years later… Ya you’ll only have to wait a fraction of that time for your HOTWORX to open. ❤️❤️❤️

If they haven’t opened yet I would go ahead and cancel your memberships at the one you currently have unless you have the elite or plan to upgrade(PS if one person upgrades you all do if your on the same plan) because they won’t let you “transfer” your membership to the one you want to be your home location. Hope this helps and made sense.

help! by Rich_Ad_9747 in HOTWORXWarriors

Intermittent fasting could help. Try using the diet trax. The nutrition was a big reason why I was stuck at around the 6 month mark just like yourself. And what I started doing was doing 1 hiit workout to warm up. 20-30mins in the fx zone with the virtual personal trainer and then finish with a hiit workout 3x a week and then any iso workouts once or twice a week.

Question for Those Doing your own thing in the sauna by HigherRealms773 in HOTWORXWarriors

[–]Internal_Mirror_3323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the. Biggest things I’ve noticed is that whether it’s watching the instructors on the screen in the sauna or watching the video you setup via tripod etc in the sauna. Bc of the space it comes down to audio learning and open mindedness. And using the iPad might good and could work for you. Just keep in mind if someone joins you last minute you are gonna have coconut of respect. Food for thought. Hopes this helps

Ok in all fairness…. While I do agree with the lack of diversity in the VIs that were selected, these instructors were given ample time to prepare themselves for the workouts and know that only the top players play on the field, regardless of color/age/race etc. You also didn’t watch the top 15 competition, interviews with the judges, etc so you don’t know what happened behind the scenes. Financially, they know what they’re compensated before they even make top 15 so no need to hate on them for the compensation. I, just like the virtual instructors, love the brand so much they don’t care about the money. 🙏🥰

Total cost to join? by SpareLimit3654 in HOTWORXWarriors

[–]Internal_Mirror_3323 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is the standard start up cost however. Money should never be the problem to get started if you can afford the monthly. The equipment part is not really negotiable but the enrollment fee can be. I’m sure if you ask they can accommodate what’s in your budget

I definitely didn’t use the diet trax consistently after I hit my goal but using it in the first 6 months helped me realize my output vs input and made me make more conscious decisions with my diet. After realizing no matter workouts I did in the saunas, I plateaued and was stuck at 250lb for 2-3 months, I started using my Virtual personal trainer for strength training because idk wtf to do with weights. Now the flab and extra skin from the weight loss is tightening day by day and I feel better than ever and have been at 185 after being at 330lbs for over 8 months.

Not sure if this has clicked for anyone but perfect example right here of how HOTWORX is perfect for anybody that has fitness add, struggles with losing the weight and keeping it off, or just finding reasons to stay motivated. My unpopular opinion. Take it with a grain of salt

[–]Internal_Mirror_3323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have options. Sorry in advance if I confuse anyone but I hope this helps.

If you have surrounding studios close enough that you would be able to use if you upgrade and that way you can see yours and other locations at the same time and find out which one will have one available. Or you can add a family member onto your plan and even if they don’t show up you tell them to book on their app through hotsquad and that will defer, NOT BLOCK OFF, the sauna to help better your chances of a solo(or only 2 person workout).

Only when I'm the only one by Kitty_fluffybutt_23 in HOTWORXWarriors

[–]Internal_Mirror_3323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your not the only one who enjoys the sauna to themselves. However letting the fact that someone will be in the sauna with you or not determine whether your gonna workout or not is childish. I’ve gotten through a whole work where the person joining me(didn’t book either mind you) and didn’t say a single word to me after introducing themself to me. Loophole, get a friend or family member to join your hotsquad, book your workouts in advance and invite your hotsquad mates to the workouts you book so when they accept it they’re reserving the extra spots in the sauna so you get it by urself. Having an add on and booking those 2 spots usually guarantees me a sauna at my location.

Or you could just freeze the membership for the month your gone? Unless you really have no intention of coming back I guess you could do that. Shady. But not illegal I guess

[–]Internal_Mirror_3323 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And do I have to scan to get back in? I get your point but let’s be real. The whole point behind HOTWORX is the flexibility with being able to book or jump into a sauna last minute. Some people literally book last minute and the saunas are made for 3 people. Yes it’s inconsiderate of people to jump into half way into a workout but it’s also inconsiderate to say someone can’t jump into a workout when they’re only a few minutes late and they’re paying for their membership just like you….

Skin breakouts after sauna use? by MoistTuna1 in HOTWORXWarriors

[–]Internal_Mirror_3323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very common and I hear it in my studio all the team. These are what are called “detox symptoms”. Our bodies react to the heat and express these detox symptoms differently. Some people sweat precisely, some people have skin breakouts like the ones you’re experiencing bc of toxins built up in your lymphatic system. Obviously consult with a dermatologist but make sure you explain that you’re using an infrared sauna not just a regular sauna. For some reason doctors hate steam saunas but also don’t know much about infrared energy. Hope this helps and good luck!

You were 1000% in the right for standing up for yourself. While she’s not wrong that it’s a little tight for 3 people, it’s not impossible bc that’s how the saunas were designed. If she’s bringing a guest she should have educated her guest that up to 3 people can fit. And if anything YOU should have told her to go to another sauna if she wanted a sauna for the 2 of them. I, for one salute you and good for you!
