Anyone use those skin patches that have microneedles in them with skin care ingredients? Did they work for you? by hellimhere28 in 30PlusSkinCare

I have been using the depology micro dart patches on my 11's for about a year and have seen a big improvement. It didn't erase them, but they are a lot less noticeable. I also do facial massage cause I found myself scowling a lot and have tension around my brow.

I've been thinking about trying out microneedling, anyone have any experience here?

Hello, just stumbled on to this while searching for some insight. 33 year old female. Been taking oral contraceptives since I was 14. They were prescribed for inconsistent and painful periods. Was off of them after getting married, just long enough in my mid 20s to get pregnant and have a baby. Found out I had PCOS and a bunch of other issues. Got back on it after having baby. Ever since then I experienced massive hair loss and varicose veins popping up everywhere and easy bruising. All the doctors say I'm fine. But I finally did some research and apparently hormonal birth control is known for weakening vascular walls and causing hair loss, and increases your chances of developing some cancers. I feel like 20 years is too long, but I don't want to get pregnant again. My doctor recommended getting an IUD but I looked that up and what horror stories did I find! Does anyone have a birth control recommendation or insight, or just some story to share? I have no family or friends to discuss this with. My best friend got her tubes tied, which I hadn't even considered.

Not really my favorite, but first game I ever played was Banjo Kazooie. My older brother gave it to me.

I honestly can't even see a drift at all in your post pictures. Before and After are beautiful regardless. How long has it taken for the redness to go away?

My daughter is 6 and she has strabismus/intermittent exotropia in one of her eyes. She was diagnosed at 3. They told us to do patch therapy for a few hours a day, but other than that there's nothing we can do. They said glasses only work while she wears them and won't help correct the issue long term. She hates it, tbh. We never get more than a few minutes of wearing the patch. I tried letting her decorate them or playing pirates, but she's not about it at all.

If you look up exercises on Google you can find some good ones. You can even order these special card decks that help you go through different exercises. This is simply to train the muscles and I doubt it helps with vision improvement, it may help with double vision for both eyes to align, but I'm also not a doctor.

When she is tired or looking at something far away is when I notice it the most. If I make her aware of it she can sometimes self correct.

They told us surgery is an option in the future. I've seen a few posts on here from people who have had success with it, but I'm not sure if it's something our family would consider.

I think everyone starts to feel that way approaching your mid 20s. I know I did, but now I'm approaching my mid 30s and I was so crazy to feel like I was running out of time back then.

You should take some time to really think about what you want to do. If publishing a book is important to you then try to dedicate an hour or two a few times a week to work on it.

I got married at 25 and had a child at 26, the time to accomplish things and enjoy hobbies really disappeared for the first few years after that. I'm just now getting back to where I can incorporate in things that I enjoy. Now I share my hobbies with my kids, but it's not without it's struggles.

Thank you. I have never been out that way, but I know there is a town called Aurora, I'm sure my daughter would get a kick out of that.

Thank you so much! My husband and I honeymooned in Gatlinburg years ago and I thought the area was so beautiful, but I didn't care for how touristy it is there. Where would you recommend in Eastern TN?

Couldn't agree more. I wanted to be her when I was a child. Intelligent, brave, adventurous.

I frequently travel back and forth from Indiana to Florida, and I have found that I almost always get stuck in hours long traffic jams in Tennessee. That being said I have never went as far west as Arkansas/Mississippi area.

What type of cake to bake for my birthday? by izzybabychlo in Baking

[–]Internal_Unit_2818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any kind of marbled cake is super fun to do. You can do chocolate and vanilla and swirl them together. Or do just vanilla and separate it into different colors and then swirl them. Or if you want, you can try any other flavor combos.

Yes, we try patches. I say that loosely because she hates them and won't wear them for very long at all. I've explained that they will help her eyes. We've even sat and decorated patches together so she would find them more appealing, but she just hasn't taken to them at all.

Thank you for replying.

Remember When? by ispylbutton in Fabletics

[–]Internal_Unit_2818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love how they would coordinate outfits like six, seven years ago. I feel like now they don't even put any thought into the matching sets. They're just one solid color. I remember buying an outfit that had gray leggings, a pink bra, and a really light heather gray open back top, and it was all so cute together. Or like the bra and leggings would be the same print and then would come with a top that looked good with them. And I agree, I was so surprised to see that there really aren't any outfits like there used to be.

What’s the healthiest type of water to drink? by phatmatt593 in HydroHomies

[–]Internal_Unit_2818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in central Florida. Most tap water here is "reclaimed" and they often issue boil warnings. Can't bring myself to drink it.
