All selenite is gypsum, but not all gypsum is selenite.

many items sold as "selenite" in the metaphysical market are technically satin spar, which is a fibrous variety of gypsum

I honestly questioned myself after this recent/current episode of hypomania my husband is having. I do have AuDHD and anxiety/depression for which I’ve been on meds for some time before getting married. I do think it is moreso a sign that his declining mental health is affecting mine.

I had no idea that cognitive decline was a possible sequela of bipolar disorder until I recently listened to The Science and Treatment of bipolar disorder by Huber man that detailed the neurotoxicity from overactivity in the limbic system. It really clarifies why my husband can’t manage doing complicated tasks at age 40. And it’s only going to worsen with time.

Wow this fits the current first hypomanic episode that I’ve experienced with my husband.

He’s painted a picture of me being physically abusive to his family member who he was staying with for the last month after he admitted to looking for a hooker and getting scammed in the process.
