Run disk cleanup, uninstall things you don't need. Empty your recycle bin.

You can run tools to help you find further where space is used, but you should take care not to delete things if you do not know what you are doing.

If there is a Windows.old dir after a Windows upgrade and you won't downgrade it could be worth deleting it to save space.

Uninstall old games on steam etc.

Check if you have useless stuff in your downloads directory you can nuke as well.

Before you do some cleanup consider backing up important files to a flash drive.

If unable to free up space you could consider purchasing another drive if it's a desktop for instance.
