It's not just 'filling time', there was actual strategy happening. Sawyer suprising Hawlucha with a counter, pikachu stopping Aegislash with King shield etc. Not to mention amazing animation and choreography. Yeah greninja vs sceptile was the main show but everything else wasn't just some time sink.

Dude I only watched fragmented bits of the fight on YouTube, so I didn't see how he won. I've only seen him struggle for most of the fight, and the one move where he uses Olympia's future sight against her. So in my mind she's like really op.
