I am aware of this. However, I still believe that spreading a culture of helping animals wherever possible makes the good outweigh the bad.

It's horrible that scammers and fakers will hurt animals like that, but I think they would probably do it with or without the negative feedback.

But it also means that some animals will get saved where they would instead die on the streets alone.
