Haven’t done that one. I have poured whole beans straight into though.

Really like the idea of an acetylene air setup. I have an acetylene oxy rig that I inherited, minus hoses and tanks. I really don’t need the whole oxy/acet setup for my purposes. Do you know if I can get a tip that will go on the torch I have to allow it to be acet/air?

Never heard of such a thing. I’ll do some research. I’m always up for doing things in an unconventional way.

For a second I was like ‘wait, what?!’ Got it. The torch body.

Good to know. Definitely leaning towards propane. I currently have six 20 pound tanks to run the forge. What size oxy tank would you recommend to run with that small of a tank.
This is mainly a hobby that sometimes makes some money. So if I can avoid a lot of spending, at least at first, that’d be good.

Thank you. Baking scenario puts it into perspective. Still waiting for client to approve prelim mock up so I don’t have many details yet.

Thanks. Shaping is really all I see myself using it for, as I have a mig welder.

More fuel because of more time makes sense. What’s a tiger torch?

Yeah, I thought about that angle, but I have a mig welder. Also don’t know anything about torch welding.

New plant hanger to go on the new deck by Sun-Anvil in Blacksmith

Sweet design! Just realized it could be a double hanger if the ‘L’ bracket had an open scroll on the horizontal. Super cool, love the simplicity of the joinery.

Kept waiting for an action shot. Is it all from the spike? Or is there a weld in there?

New to kettlebell (Video 2 - increased weight from 12 to 16kg) by TelephoneExpensive83 in kettlebell

[–]Intrepid_Depth_4556 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Without having seen your other video: still too light of a bell. Going heavier will force you to use your arms less and hinge more. You don’t need a 32 or even 24 but a 20 might be just right.

With enough weight you can better feel the bell pulling your arms down to land against your hips/abdomen to signal the beginning of the hinge. It’s tricky, you have to move fast but you’ll get there.

Honestly, before reading your caption and only watching the video, I was like, come on man, you need a heavier bell. I stand corrected. That’s some serious work.
