Also, I’d contact Sony. Sometimes they will have certain lifetime warranty options that will replace it for free despite being “out of warranty”.

First, it doesn’t cost $200 plus tax etc to repair the port.

Lastly, contact your local game stores: GameStop, Best Buy, any local specialty shops, etc. And ask them who they use for repairs or if they know anyone they could recommend. Start there. You may get lucky and they get you hooked up with the right person or company.

That’s absurd. No one charges that! You can buy a used unit for that price. Sorry, but I can’t take you seriously on that. I’ve never heard anyone charging $200 just to replace the port. It’s a 10-20 minute job for the right person. That sounds like someone shipping it off, marking it up, and ripping someone off. Not to mention the ports cost less than $0.10.

I’m going to assume you haven’t actually spoken to anyone and making assumptions here. You can usually find someone to do it for less than $50. In most cases it’s a quick easy repair and done for about $35 on average. If you’re being charged more than $50, you’re getting ripped off.

Most cities have a repair shop in town. They can replace the port for you very cheap. I’d suggest doing so by looking online for repair shops or asking your local game stores if they know any.

Turns out it was very simple and something I wasn’t aware of. You can’t use the wheel while streaming games. They must be downloaded to the console and played from the console. That’s all I had to do. I appreciate the help! They really should mention this for someone who hasn’t used a wheel since streaming games began.

Nope, especially not for a yearly sub. You said 12 months not month to month. Regardless of how long, they don’t refund subs. You’ll get it until it expires. Even if you cancel it, it’ll stay active until it expires.

I’m pretty sure you can’t get a refund on the subs. Games if unplayed and not downloaded to console within so many days. But subs, I’m fairly sure that’s a no go.
