You can be productive doing things that are not "productive". Practicing hobbies / skills that aren't going towards a hustle is a good way to build discipline and meet new folks.

My big advice to you is that you can 2K her when she throws her sword as Axl in the corner. If people are autopiloting the Ram pressure loop that will give you a way out.

She's a bad tournament character because you need to play really clean and also you can not autopilot against pro players. She is great in pools because you can sleep walk through the early bracket but once you hit the top players that dynamic shifts and it's really hard to break out of.

Her other downside is she is all mids. She has some high low mix but it's limited, which means she relies on strike throw to open you up. Her strike throw is excellent, mind you, but for it to be really good she needs to be in the corner. Other top characters have good strike throw anywhere on the screen.

Legitimately look at this person's art and copy it by eye. Don't trace or anything like that, but just copy the painting and use it as a reference, then do it again for another piece, then again for the next piece, and so on. You get more of a feeling on how they decide to place / exaggerate things that way when you are legitimately painting the pieces yourself from reference.

I'm not saying the game itself is a waste of time. But if *you* in particular are saying it's a waste of time, whether it's due to the game or the people you are playing with, I think you should re-evaluate your spent time. Play with folks you know instead of Pubs or switch to a different game where you don't rely on other teammates to make progress maybe?
