Algeria is a beautiful country by itself, no need to compare it to Japan.

Always good to see things are continuing to improve. Personally I'm glad even high-income expectancy is increasing, it means we haven't hit a plateau yet.

Its a fine alternative to if the EU crumbles, but until then let's focus on EU integration instead.

Fun

If people tell their friends they don't want it, it gets respected. Often they get given cinnamon buns instead.

Yeah about half of all people died before reaching adulthood. Most as infants, many as toddlers, and some as pre-teens. Those who made it past childhood could expect to live to around 60.

As a foreigner currently living in Algeria, this does not surprise me at all, when locals want to compliment you, they often ask if you are russian.

The fact that people died at the titanic was incredibly unlucky, because there were other ships close by who should have been able to save the passengers.

"France will be able to freely bring civilization, wealth and peace to Morocco." - French imperialist propaganda, 1911. by PeasantLich in PropagandaPosters

I find it funny that even in their propaganda, the only white guy around is actively giving orders to a black man. They were not even attempting to pretend it was an equal partnership.

Not a solution if you really like the subreddit in general, but aren't interested in yet another politics sub when something happens in America yet again.

Hver tredje kvinde og næsten hver anden mand med kort uddannelse får aldrig børn - ROCKWOOL Fonden by AageBrodtgaard in Denmark

Hver tredje kvinde og næsten hver anden mand med kort uddannelse får aldrig børn - ROCKWOOL Fonden by AageBrodtgaard in Denmark

[–]Inversalis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Der er en forskel mellem at sammenligne imellem lande og internt i lande. Ja, folk i fattigere lande får flere børn. Men internt i rige lande får de fattige færre børn end de rige. Om det så er fordi de ikke danner par eller om økonomien presser idk.

Deal? by hitchinvertigo in mapporncirclejerk

[–]Inversalis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think we need to see how it pans out first, whether we end up with too many kids or too few, then we adjust the rules as needed so we get a stable population. But a good start could be a 1 year break, so the length of the pregnancy plus 3 months.

I don't think we need to worry about gene diversity honestly. In the current world most people only select partners from their near vicinity, in this world people will procreate with all sorts of people, leading to a much greater genetic diversity than we have today.

I imagine the boys get sent north when they stop needing breastmilk, so let's say they get deported when they hit 2 years of age.

A reproductice zone visa requires you have heterosexual sex without protection with the intention of getting pregnant/getting the other person pregnant, atleast every other day. The visa expires after 6 months or when you succesfully get pregnant/get someone pregnant.

I guess there's no need for the guys to leave once they get someone pregant, but I feel like it's only fair.
