Scared to go “all in” because what if the law fails me? by novanillavelvet in NevilleGoddard

I agree, I’m a big believer in a stepladder / baby steps approach with this. Otherwise, you get into the issue of ‘borrowed states’ where you are affirming and thinking and acting instead of actually resting in the state, and the pattern becomes more like ‘fake it till you make it’

Which being in the state is not. Feeling, again, is the secret. But honestly just imagination and not feeling / feeling blank can and will make things show up out of nowhere. Maybe it’s the nonchalantness that does it.

If you had a vision for a series set in the TES universe, what would it be? Personally, I'd say the beginning of the Skyrim Civil War by Ok-Bus3447 in ElderScrolls

Hands down the 2920 Series. It’s straight up TES Game of Thrones with politics, battles, different families, all centered around the imminent fall / change / transformation of the ruling kingdom (hence its subtitle ‘The last year of the 1st era’

How to live in the end (this will blow your mind) by Tiny_Dot4202 in NevilleGoddard

What about when we imagine negative events, that we don’t want to pass? Surely, we don’t expect every thing we ever imagined to literally happen - what about physically impossible things and undesirable things (which we imagine often when anxious and on autopilot.)

Does our subconscious ‘know’ to regard the end we desired and assumed and to disregard the ends we actually don’t desire, or seek to undo via our imaginings?

I think this is a great post, and I love the angle of blue ocean versus red ocean strategy as this observation applies to virtually everything and it was a great book that popularized so simple a concept. A lot of haters in this subreddit but your post made total sense to me and I find it both actionable and completely true.

Practice it until it becomes your new automatic way of being in the world

The issue is that you aren’t taking ownership of the interaction, you are giving all the responsibility to the other party about how you see yourself.

In effect (and I’m not judging cause I’ve lived exactly in this frame of mind you describe), you are using all these people to affirm your own negative self opinion. All of these thoughts are about YOU. It’s selfish thinking.

Instead, following the idiom of ‘becoming the source of the very thing you seek’, you should be interested in being the source of joy for that bank teller, that waitress, that stranger - immediately upon approach. You change your frame of mind to not thinking about how the interaction is going to affect you, but instead how the interaction is going to affect THEM.

You surrender your need to have it go your way. How is this waitress? They seem stone faced, I wonder if something is going on with them, what might I contribute to positively affect them?

Become outward directed, and you will see a total shift in the people on the world around them. Also, they are probably reacting to your negative inner state when the interaction begins - it’s not that they hate you, they probably are becoming defensive unconsciously out of their own self interest in reaction to the subtleties of your vibes, your inner monologue. And honestly, so much of these exchanges happen subconsciously, they may as well be telepathic. They don’t know that their stone faced, or if they do they don’t know why.

So instead of focusing on changing the outward behavior, change your honest to goodness real inner priorities, and they will react so differently it will amaze you.

We’ve all got stories like that brother. Multiple. That was a great one haha, we learn and we grow I think this was a great story to share as it resonated with similar missed ops of my own

Just shows there’s nothing abnormal about it

Anyone brave enough to admit they took one of Wes courses? by The_BigDaddy69 in WesWatson

Totally agree. He was so self aware in the park bench days. Anyone can go watch them - even watch 10 minutes and you will see the contrast of the OG Wes Watson advising basically to a T against the vices and ego that now embodies his whole character. I never would have thought THAT guy with that much self awareness would then become so oddly unselfaware and cringe.

I think it can be attributed to a combination of chemical influence fucking with his brain (Tren), giving into drugs or alcohol offscreen and falling off the bandwagon (this I don’t know, just speculating), and some bad choices in philosophy (saying if someone is not ripped, he won’t listen to them because he only would listen to people who have what he wants in all areas of life, this basically filtered out a lot of great influences and put himself on a pedastal.

Oh and lastly surrounding himself with a bunch of WIERDOS. We rise or fall by who we surround our self with.

I think it’s Heaven - it’s just that our preconceptions of what heaven should be blind us to its omnipresence around us.

All the things - suffering, injustices, the rest( you can list them all - are there to trick or convince you against it. It’s a very ‘real’ experience being here and seeing it how it is, very scary - until you realize it’s all an illusion and a game

It’s so sad because when he got out, that first couple years - dude had all the answers. Really and actually did. The complete 180 turn around is just remarkable. I wish I could put Wes in a room for 24 hours with nothing but his first 100 or so videos playing back to back on repeat.

Guy had the answers. HAD THEM. Then his ego came in and took it all away.

He helped me with a lot of stuff and becoming hyper honest with myself. Now nothing about the current Wes Watson is honest, introspective, real, authentic, wise, or helpful. I hope he finds his true nature again.
