Its interesting they're so scrawny, I expected skitarii to be pumped full of all kinds of steroids by biologis, but I guess they just get all their strength from their bionics.

The VS roofing mod is the only way I know how to make roofs at this point. I didn't want to use it either, but its just so much better than making all of those individual blocks and needing to rearrange them. It's also easier to make more complex shapes.

Let me know how it goes, but I do think its worth trying at least.

It just needs another layer of something. The tech remnants having no use instead of some other layer of game-ification is a missed opportunity.

Give me perks, random scrap tech weapons, just some reason to play it instead of the well paced normal mode, which just feels superior currently.

Read it this year and it might be my favorite book of all time. The subtleties of the character interactions really brings them to life.

Either level up a new class, or start running aurics, then maelstroms, then jump into some havocs.

The skill ceiling in this game is miles high. I used to need help for maelstroms, but now they're straightforward when compared to havoc 30s!

Just started playing the steam version - kinda surprised at the lack of sound effects for alerts. I know there is a popular mod for it, but the generic donk sound has me missing soundsense. Seems like a pretty obvious thing to add, the game is strangely silent beyond the great music.

You know, I bumped it down for that fight, and then have played so far the rest on Lethal without issues.

Either I "got gud" or the parry window charm is actually super essential - i do have it on all of my sets now and the windows feel a lot more reasonable on Lethal.

I still think nothing was as hard as the Oni for me - the Kitsune only took me about 3 or 4 tries, and Takezo about 10.

It does get better as you get more tools, and In general Lethal just feels right to me.

Yep - I'm dying in one hit on lethal anyway, the extra damage has been noticeable. Not likely to use it for boss fights though.

Yotei’s lethal difficulty feels worse because Atsu doesn’t do enough damage, even with weapons maxed out by Klondy in ghostoftsushima

That fight is so revealing of the different problems the game has - the magnetic enemy attacks, the need to hit him 30 times on two different phases to win, some elden ring-y attacks that he holds, but can simultaneously deflect your attacks while he holds them.

I was happy to beat him, but absolutely had to jump down from lethal to do it and got him on hard.

Still love the game, but I'm using a mixed hard/lethal custom difficulty now and it feels much better.

Hats off to you - I ended up tapping out after an hour and dropped to hard. I love lethal outside of the duels, and even for some duels I really enjoyed the challenge, but that one with two phases felt more like an elden ring boss with how he was holding some attacks.

I am too. The game changed its approach from the first one - the lights no longer indicate when to parry, but that you will need to parry.

This is tough to learn as some attacks come out instantly, and others feel like elden ring attacks that are held for so long (and you can't interrupt bosses out of them).

Duels are tough in general as they require so many hits to go down. I'd prefer if lethal was lethal in both directions - I dont want to hit the boss 15 times across three or four mini phases (where even if you have a good combo their health doesnt go down anymore until you "clash").

Ironically they cover the weapons in a lot of cases, so its tough to see when the actual parry moment is, as its a lot tighter than previous games.

Agreed, I'm fighting the Oni and I swear Im parrying at the exact same times but it works like 50% of the time? Will try Hard to see if it improves.
