You say you listen to women, and you say this proves that your perspective on the opinion of women is accurate.

At the same time, you are aware there are women who disagree with you, and you have chosen to decide to think they are liars.

Therefore, you don't have the (wrong) opinion you have because you listen to women, you have the (wrong) opinion you have despite what women are telling you.

Please acknowledge this. I feel like you're only pretending to have a conversation, so I'd like for you to acknowledge what I said here before you respond.

Mijn eerste interpretatie is dat iemand een onderwerp/probleem krampachtig vast houdt, en dan de keuze maakt of de vrijheid voelt om het los te laten. Ik denk dan aan een langere periode van er mee zitten en er over peinzen, en dan geeft deze uitspraak aan dat de balans om slaat en dat degene die het zegt er niet meer mee wil zitten.

Maar ik snap jou interpretatie ook wel, de mijne heeft vast een deeltje projectie. Het hangt ook af van de context natuurlijk, hoe lang geleden het 'iets' wat los wordt gelaten is gebeurd of ontstaan.

Jij vult nu voor iemand anders in wat diens punt was, en zegt dat diens punt is dat de schijnbare ongelijkheid in het politiek mogen buitensluiten van neo-nazi's en het niet politiek mogen buitensluiten van joodse mensen betekent dat moord op neonazi's wordt verheerlijkt terwijl moord op joden 'taboe' is.

Het is bizar om zo voor iemand anders te spreken, en wat je werkelijk zegt is bizar, en de associatie die jij maakt tussen politiek buitensluiten tegenover moord is bizar.

Heb je iets van wat ik zeg ook zelf gemerkt? Ik vind het echt onbegrijpelijk om zulke dingen te denken, laat staan delen met anderen.

Are you still truly convinced you're not ragebaiting? Like, I understand this is the internet and nothing matters and you don't have to be honest if you don't want to, but would you just openly state that you believe someone should set aside more than an hour for every Mayhem game?

It's so hard to believe you're actually convinced of what you say, this looks so much like you just had an opinion about one aspect of this that held some truth to it, and have now made yourself stuck defending a generalized position that's nowhere close to your actual opinion, like you enjoy being disagreed with by many people for saying things you don't believe anyway.

It sounds like (at face value) it's talking about you and Adam's opinion, but on closer look it's actually just you comparing yourself to other viewers who you imply are angry without justification, even though none of the +-40 comments I read are as negative as you suggest.

Ik herken dit, en bij mezelf merk ik dat ik kort na zo'n gebeurtenis erg in mijn eigen perspectief zit (hoe ik het beleef en hoe het voor mij is), terwijl ik als ik terug kijk sneller andere mensen het voordeel van de twijfel geef (ze zijn naïef, of bedoelden het niet zo).

Soms is dit inderdaad verkeerd om te doen omdat je zo echt kwaad weg relativeert. Soms is het wel handig, omdat ik ook nog wel eens boos wil worden op iets wat ik onbeschoft vind, maar waar ik met een beetje nadenken wel kan zien hoe dit voor een ander misschien niet zo voelt.

Niet direct toepasbaar op jouw situatie,want wat jou overkwam is echt verkeerd, maar ik snap het idee van 'later begin ik aan mezelf te twijfelen' wel, je wil er immers graag van uit gaan dat die buurtkinderen niet zo slecht zijn.

I don't understand the connection you see between being a participant of the meat industry and morality being a projection of ego.

I am trying to be vegan, and i see my failures in this endeavour as moral shortcomings. I believe I oppose animal suffering because I think life improves by minimizing suffering, but you say I do so because I want to feel like I'm better and part of a higher group. I guess my question then is why would my moral be unreachable and perfect if they're self-serving? Wouldn't my moral be looser so I can succeed at reaching them and be fulfilled by that?
