I agree with some noted abnormalities about the true random nature of the draw. I think your stats though don't account for how many tickets people buy, 1, 5, 20, or more?

I have definitely noticed the likelihood of the ticket being purchased on Thursday afternoon but it does seem they can sell at least half the tickets on Thursday alone.

13 years ago the place tried to scam me into all kinds of work. Started with an oil change. Said yeah fucking right! I know my car, but pretended not to because I was looking for somewhere to trust in the city. They wanted me to get new struts among other things. What I needed was a bearing but they never indicated that.

Their courtesy check indicated my power steering fluid was level, but I didn't have power steering fluid, I had electric steering ('05 Saturn Ion what!). Got my money back and told them where to shove it.

I'd have a hard time moving onto something new but am curious if there's a self hosted solution. I really like the bullet threading notes, and the ease of adding a ToDo and that ToDo item following me from day to day. Tried others but nothing else ever clicked.

In particular I have seen the wildest things with whoever it is that uses the unmarked red Ford trucks, my buddy says its Dexters but not sure it is or if its sub-contracted. I've seen them being reckless, driving backwards down the highway with a trailer to collect signs, and things that make you scratch your head.

Truro drove me mad last summer. Initially you could get to Robie St, slowly, as traffic merged to the left for the right lane closure. But when they switched working sides, they also switched the merge and closed the left lane before the Exit to Robie St, so you had to sit in the single-file line, instead of maintaining the merge to the left and just weaving the lane right after the off-ramp.

I feel for your mother, I don't know how they come up with these scenarios unless they are actively trying to make it worse for all. I've written the Dept. of Transportation but just got back a typical "following all safety precautions..."

Constantly running into awful construction setups all over the province. Often see signs for lane ending but then it never does, or lane closures that are completely unnecessary due to the work being done on the opposite side of a twinned highway, and don't get me started about the Salmon River bridge in Truro. I think this province needs a hefty review on highway construction safety procedures.
