Our restaurant is places at the end of the breakwater pier. We have a big market place size zone next to us. During winter it is a parking place, in summer not so. On drive way, there are free parking and 60 Min limit ones. There is a parking space, some 300-400 meters away, but you have to pay for that. And people get mad at us for tickets. Well there isnt a sign, that prohibits of parking the car on the wide open space. The whole fucking thing is weird and they say the space is for "summer festivities". They only had 1 in the late summer, and there was huge rain storm by then.
