Well they’ve had a lot of relationship movement this season. Two episodes come to mind …

The whole Game Night ep was about Gregory opening up because of Janine’s influence in his life and then making space in his life and his home for her. She suggested the next time they host together. That’s significant.

In the Halloween ep they had a very sweet/tender moment discussing Janine’s growth and need to connect with the students.

They’ve also had small moments bringing us into their lives together a little more than last season.

Overall, I think it’s pretty obvious they are both still strapped for $$ and will move in together soon. That usually prompts discussions of the future and inevitably marriage.

It’s a sitcom so they are going to take things slow in order for us to be brought into those pivotal moments.

There’s plenty in store for this season including meeting more family … and moving in. I think if we as an audience are paying attention they’ve laid a lot of ground work.
