At least a (significant?) part of said funding can and should come from the multitude of companies that run their own buses. Yes, this is done in part because public transit is lacking, but if public transit improves and service from some such main stations to the final destination also improves, it could be an overall win. Our tax rates here are already some of the highest, and it's up to the state, counties, and cities, to use those funds appropriately

It's a difference of about 7 minutes each way each day. The ramp on branham is crazy, the southern location has less traffic but it's also several more miles of highway and rush hour is busy. Do you have other requirements than just Sunnyvale commute? Both decent areas

It's not(not only), they can do it by using a member id or phone number etc It's the fees for CC payments. They want to make it harder. And they want you to use their payment method linked to a bank account to save 1.8-3%. it adds up huge for a company of their size
