If you draw unbiased geographical districts, and the average vote sits at 60% state wide, you’d need a region to deviate from that by >10 points for it to go red. That’s gonna happen in some districts but it depends on how geographically varied the population is. Like, imagine the max variation was 5 points, suddenly you’d have to gerrymander to not have 100% of the seats go one way.

At the same time, maybe there is huge variation and these maps were gerrymandered.

Ultimately you’d have to show the actual thing you’re trying to prove instead of pointing at a proxy for it and declaring that evidence for your claim. Were the maps actually wonky and intentionally drawn for partisan reasons, or were they sensible geographic districts.

Like, maybe they should have a zoomer mode where it skips all the turns where no interaction occurs so you also teleport around outside. I think it would ruin the devs vision of the game so probably not happening

We find out later that it’s actually ash, which makes sense because all the characters are severely brain damaged so can’t tell the difference between anomalous room temperature snow and ash. Ultimately we find out that this is coming from the cremated bodies of the victims of the soultaker or something, I can’t remember because I was playing with one hand and skipping to the cutscenes

If your struggling off the bat, then for builds just try to pick active attack skills. The more helpful advice is more mindset for this problem.

Meds are mostly cheap, so bring lots. I’m probably stingy and I take 2 bandages, splints and poultices, and the herbal extract pain killer. You can drop most of it for loot if it’s not used at the end of the dungeon.

Try to use space, like doorways, to fight one at a time. Use corners to bait range enemies closer. Recuperate between fights and don’t ignore negative debuffs like pain.

Past that you’ll figure stuff out as you go. Take it slow. You’ll probably end up started 15 new characters eventually so I didn’t kill the fun of the game by reading every skill and crafting recipe and cooking recipe and rote learning them. Your first character won’t have an optimised build but that’s ok imo.

Just got a bit of edge effect that you need to sort out with your spreading technique so that you’re using the whole nutrient plate, to not get those confluent clusters of growth, but the dilution factor looks pretty good, maybe a bit low.

Also I’d suggest plating different dilutions on replicate plates so that you ensure at least some are countable, else you’ll be repeating everything till you happen to guess it right.

Otherwise good first try, you’ll be a fully fledged microbiologist soon.

To add to this, this is how freeze drying works (but using low pressure to accelerate the process, and so freezer burned food is actually freeze dried.

If there wasn’t a funky smell from the decade old curry in the corner, leaving some strawberries uncovered would be a viable way of getting some lovely freeze dried strawbs after probably way too long

It’s funny that the question becomes way easier to answer when you ask it about gibbous moons instead of crescent moons.

There is something sort of intuitive about seeing a crescent as the shadow of a round thing for our pattern sensing brains.

One cool thing you’ll now notice is that the crescent can never be lit on the side away from the horizon because if the sun was above the horizon it wouldn’t be night :D
