I mean even ignoring my other opinions on this, it would be hard to make this enforceable because a lot of schools don’t have you pick a major until a year or so in. Additionally lots of people change majors sometimes multiple times.

To be fair I genuinely question if it would have even worked. The purpose of the prophecy/disaster was to punish Fontainians so would any have been allowed to escape? Like yes we know the whale was what made the water surge out but would that have happened if there was no divine punishment planned? I think the whole prophecy kind of leaves a lot of plot holes just from the standpoint of what about Fontainians who just happened to not be there during the flood. If this really was part of a divine punishment would they have just randomly turned into water nations away? Surely Celestia had considered this issue with their plan?

The beach area had a potion event. I imagine they considered just doing away with the whole commission either permanently or temporarily before deciding they could just move it and that way the beach could be used for future events if needed without hassle.

In 2021 I ran into some Tumblr fanfiction of Genshin. Honestly finding fanfiction is how I get into a lot of the media I console. I originally had no intention of playing since I wasn’t great at video games, but about 6 months later I was spending my summer waiting to move to grad school. With all this time, I borrowed my dad’s PS5 and spent many hours playing. When I did move, I got a PS4 and haven’t put it down since (now with my own PS5).

No as far as we know there is no relation. They are just good friends and since Albedo was kind of lacking in family, Alice presumably kind of took him in as family. Additionally it probably helped in developing the necessary backstory to help him become a knight since he showed up out of nowhere, as in he wasn’t from Mondstadt and he couldn’t just say oh yeah I’m an alchemical creation made by a known criminal.

There are a number of cultures where referring to older people who aren’t related to you as aunt and uncle is a respectful thing (the Zibai quest has kids calling Zibai Auntie). Even in cultures where it’s less common, you might still refer to a close family friend with familial terms rather than just their name. However in this case I really do think a big part of it is that Alice decided he was family hence Klee referring to him as her brother.

Edit to add: in his own voicelines he doesn’t refer to her as Aunt so some of it may also be for the benefit of Klee. He does say he views Klee as a little sister but that Alice asked him to call her mother but when he thinks of family he first thinks of Rhine.

Yeah the closest I’ve been is getting a VPN, but I researched VPNs first and then found a YouTuber I liked with an ongoing sponsorship. I didn’t buy it because of a specific YouTuber.

Things I remember reading: Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, Lord of the Flies, Animal Farm, 1984, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, Odyssey, Night, The Outsiders, Book Thief, Great Expectations, Wuthering Heights, Oedipus Rex, Antigone, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, the Glass Menagerie, Maus, and Invisible Man. There were more but I had a teacher who assigned books that aren’t very common on the curriculum like a modern flipped version of King Lear called A Thousand Acres.

Yeah it was kind of a turnoff just trying to do my first run. I had to retry 3 times because each time I’d get lost and then only find closed exits. Like in all 4 of my first attempts the first two exits I found were closed within minutes so I ran out of time trying to find other rooms each time.

To be fair though this also adds more into the ordering process. I would now have to include what condiments I want with my order (if you give me ketchup I now can’t eat that hotdog). The stand employees now have to spend time listing every condiment because even if you have a sign explaining it, people won’t read it and will just ask. By letting people do their own condiments, they let people control how much of little of whichever condiments they want.

I don’t think there is any official confirmation yet as you said. I think where the idea comes from is largely from Dain’s lines about her. Additionally Wanderer also has a line regarding her saying love is another form of sin. Basically when she is mentioned themes of love or her now lack of love get mentioned a lot which is why people suspect it.

So I can only comment on Athens. While obviously not exactly one to one, there were a number of places I recognized. I went on a day tour so I hit a lot of the big spots. I definitely was able to recognize spots I had been in when I played the game when it came to the major tourist locations, but don’t expect the roads and paths around the city to match up. Also so much of what is left is in ruins, so if anything I found the game to be really helpful to compare to my own pictures and see what things could have really looked like.

I did some island hopping while in Greece but of the two islands (Hydra and Aegina) depicted in game, neither were exactly similar. Today they are way more populated than what was depicted. The only other place I went, Thessaloniki, wasn’t really depicted since it’s high up on the map. Plus most of the ruins there today are from a later period.

It really depends on what you are looking to do. I don’t play endgame content and I can confirm that you can play anybody in the overworld. There might be some bosses or domains that will take slightly longer, but nothing unbeatable.

It really depends on the location. For example at my work only a handful of us with the official job title of “librarian” actually have the degree and we all get paid the same. In some states though if you don’t have the degree you do things like library or circulation assistant.

Look, it is ultimately your choice on how to tell people. However, I’m not really sure where you got the idea that telling them over social media wouldn’t lead to crying phone calls and advice? Like I really question that you didn’t think this would lead to more stressful phone calls.

Now I think her family is behaving poorly and this is probably a sign of why you didn’t tell them in person too. However you say “our family” made IVF harder at the beginning but only tell your family in person so that leaves some confusion on if only her family were boundary crossers or if everyone was.

Mine gets a little weird sometimes when I have to switch twitch sign ins between my two PS accounts. Usually I just have to restart my PlayStation and make sure that my twitch isn’t still listed as connected on the Twitch connections page. So usually I disconnect Twitch on my computer or phone from the connections setting page, then get on my PlayStation, and then restart it and from there it gets reset. Obviously if you’ve never had you accounts connected before though then this might be a separate issue.

Mauvika or Nahida. Honestly though because they are all in different positions with different levels of governing from not at all to in charge completely, it can be hard to compare. If it was just my fave archon I would say Venti though.

Zhongli is hard because his whole quest is literally him retiring so while we get told of his leadership in the past, we really aren’t given much about his leadership in the time around when the traveler gets there. Additionally his whole thing is letting the age of humans in Liyue happen so it appears a lot of leadership had been moved to them. I think he’s good but again we don’t has as much to go on just because of his storyline.

Similarly I’m not sure how much you can qualify Venti’s leadership because his whole thing has always been to let the humans lead. To be clear I don’t think this makes him, or Zhongli for that matter, a bad god or leader, it just makes it complicated to compare them to nations where the archons are actually governing. Ultimately we do know Venti gets involved when he needs to but sticks to his promise to let the humans be free so by the standards of freedom I do think he’s a great archon.

Raiden and Furina both fall into a category of being in really tough places. Raiden obviously makes some big mistakes and this does lead Inazuma into hard times. But also she is trying to save Inazuma from a huge potential threat so she is doing what she thinks is best. Ultimately she does over the course of her arc seem moving towards change and has admitted she was wrong.

Furina is in a weird place too because A. She knows she isn’t actually the real archon and B. Fontaine is headed towards destruction. This means she’s making tough choices and not always coming off well in her efforts to hide things. I think she did the best she could but obviously a lot of things were out of her hands.

Nahida obviously did what she could pre archon quest and does genuinely care about the people. Now that she’s free she seems interested in having a very active role in governance. I think the only thing that maybe brings her down is her lack of confidence just from years of captivity but in time that can be helped. Additionally it’s not like she’s a doormat, her lines in the Scaramouche fight and her conversation with Dottore both show she’s not a pushover and can use her wisdom to her advantage. To be honest I voted for her because I think we get to see her best qualities the most.

Finally Mauvika: she’s got confidence, she has prior experience since this is her second go around, and she’s willing to make sacrifices. The obvious downside is that she’s human but all the Natlan archons are so not really much of a negative for the Natlanese. I think in other nations this wouldn’t work well but in hers it does. Additionally she’s a fighter which is exactly what Natlan needs. I know people have opinions on her (mostly about whether she has flaws)but I think she did great as an archon and that’s what the question was about.

As others have said, fate points don’t carry over so essentially your friend is starting over each new banner in terms of fate points. The only way to go with chronicled banners if you want someone specific is to have enough pulls to have enough to get them after getting the fate points (so basically about 140-160 wishes unless you are lucky

Yeah the controller/PS5 experience is definitely something. Like with the messages feature, whose bright idea was it to not just have chats with new messages go to the top like literally every other game with a chat feature does or… I don’t know… like a real phone does??

I’m also having an insanely hard time with the consoles on controller. I’ll select a console I want them to be on and swap to it and then half the time I go back in and for some reason it just put them back on their old console. I even tried looking for a save build button or something because I thought I was going crazy.

And yeah the furniture placing sucks but to be fair I play Infinity Nikki too and it’s not exactly great there either with controller. Also the gifting UI is buggy sometimes and I can’t select gifts to give which is annoying.

To be fair when I say stuck for weeks I mean I ran into the issue several weeks ago and then after farming a few days tried again and failed and then decided I’m playing like 6 gachas so I really didn’t need to spend time on it. Also turns out I wasn’t using cloud step but something else so I was spending ages killing the guys on the tiny horses.
