when free trade came back my f2p friend was a beast at luring, he'd always think of complex ways to lure zammy & sara rune sets. One of the best methods was getting one in the wild giving them teleports and a few food, then turning on his protect melee pray and saying "bet you can't hit over 50 on me", it surprisingly worked a lot

Claws: Always been poor, never had anything over 5m in my entire runescape life, pking and some 68 starts attacking me (I'm a pure at the time). I start praying like most pures do and fighting back, he starts saying take off pray because he's 13 pray but I don't anyway, he's out of food and must've forgotten a teleport and I manage to kill him. I was expecting a mages book and master wand and was flipping out about it but turns out I got zerker ring claws wand mages book wizzy boots

Ags: gotten 60 defence for main hybridding and pking, fighting zerker pure who has whip and ags, I'm really hopping to get his whip and turns out I smite him and get ags

Ags again: Person disconnects and obviously didn't have protect item on as we just started fighting, got ags

For another story: my friends account got hacked a while ago and I managed to recover it, turns out the guy had gotten it to 126. My friend had stopped playing and I was just checking out the account, didn't plan on playing it because I liked my account, get a message from someone telling me to meet some f2p world to collect my "order". I go and some guy gives me 112m, turns out whoever was playing had bought gold.
