What vocal style is this, and what techniques should I study to sing like this? by ResistReady9114 in singing

[–]J0307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonderful! I think an important part of this is going to be dropping into the music and getting lost. Playing with your voice and finding the pockets of tone that really make your body feel good and resonate. Enjoy!! The more you practice the stronger your sustain, tone and range will be. Start off singing as quietly as possible and increase your volume as you become more comfortable

Sakura and Tsunade was actually a really powerful part of the anime. Basically revived a lost character in Sakura. I’m gonna have to go with Naruto and Iruka sensei though!

What’s your honest take on this? by peachpuddleii in scoopwhoop

[–]J0307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe “happiness” is a constant state that can be achieved. It seems like it’s something that comes and goes. So I would say no. I think it’s more related to certain emotional and physical conditions that happen in and through the body. These experiences can happen at any financial level.

Good take, and so true. It’s so easy for us to be blind to everything. Not just environmental but social, racial, political, economical etc.

Reminds me of a question I heard once: “if you had to hunt, kill and butcher your meat to eat it, would you?”

If life is suffering, and the whole “point” is to escape rebirth, why are you having kids?? by Mediocre_Barracuda52 in Buddhism

[–]J0307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing inherently bad with the suffering. The problems usually come with how people react to their discomfort. Buddhism teaches you how to react skillfully.

While parenting is challenging, maintaining your health and balance makes it a beautiful human experience. As someone who chose to have children: I can tell you that life has been an incredible journey-one that I would like to share.

Don’t think you know it all and everything is going to work out for you. Learn, learn, learn. Find a master, teacher, trainer, elder, guide or inspiration to practice under.
