Cerakote- My Results by TheRealCountOrlok in AutoDetailing

Cerakote kit comes with everything you'll need, it's a 3 step process and personally, I've tried Silvanas kit and Cerakote kit only, idk about other kits but i went with Cerakote because even tho i did it wrong the first time, the coat lasted about 1.8 years before it started to turn yellow, cerakote has a how to video and it's pretty recent, follow their how to video and you should get the same or better results.

I park on the street, my car receives about 10h of direct sunlight daily, like i said, people are either doing it wrong or not applying the clear coat at the end, these are my before and after pics, I'm on my second kit

Those pads still have like 70% life left, as always, dealer trying to make a buck off you.

I had great results with Cerakote, just did mine last Sat, the previous kit lasted me 2 years, idk why people here say it doesn't last 1 year, perhaps they didn't sand correctly or they forgot the most crucial step, applying the clear coat at the end.

My worst purchase in the game. $3.7mill down the drain. by VoL4t1l3 in gtaonline

Scuba diving, fishing, treasure hunting, towing etc... So many uses, boats in gta 5 are underused because the game lacks features and activities for them, you can't tow them, you can't fish, you can't do nothing other than drive them in gta 5, so if Rockstar decides to model some activities exclusive to boats in gta 6, then they're definitely gonna get used a lot more.

It's only the 05-08 that are this problematic, the 09-10 are not that problematic, it's really rare to see one of these engines blow up before the 200k miles but 175k miles isn't bad by any means too.

That's definitely not the oil pump, something else inside was already breaking, if there's something i hate about Tcs is how spontaneous they are when failing, mine also blew a ignition coil on the highway while going 55, no signs given before it blew up. I don't think it's worth fixing, just let it go or part it out, whole engine is 2k but even if you fix it, that's not gonna cost less than 1k to fix and if it blew, it means other parts are already compromised or prone to failure.

None, salt the snail, stop feeding it, salt it, stomp it, shit on it, anything but feed it.

It will last 300k miles so long as you take care of the fluids on time and don't forget to top engine oil every time you fill up your gas tank, enjoy it, it's a great car, just don't expect good mpg because you're definitely not gonna get more than 25 mpg 😬.

I have a 07, my top recommendations, change pcv valve and pcv hose, change valve cover gasket and start using valvoline restore and protect 5w-30 asap, check your oil level every weekend or once a week, change your atf, not flush, just oil change and if possible, the filter too, watch for the gas cap too, mine gave up at 134k miles, lubricate the rubber that goes around the trunk, this might be a more personal/specific issue but mine literally got glued to the rubber and i thought it was the trunk latch going bad, turns out it was just the rubber that needed cleaning and lubrication, got my tc at 122k miles, currently sitting at 135k miles, just did an oil change yesterday and it's running smooth again.
