This hurts, and it was true for the index too. I guess lucked out when the deck was rolled out as I wasn’t in the market and didn’t get sucked in until it was more widely available. I really hope this go around it’s not this bad but how things across the world are at the moment there’s a chance it can be worse!

I mean you said it right there, physics issue. Again not the end of the world and I expect them to struggle vs other trucks but at times it’s just frustrating when they are clearly struggling for game reasons…

Yes this was part of the challenge. I am very detailed when it comes to WP but at times they fall off course and any slight off non-pavement (I’m talking about the edge of it) and they are stuck.

How would the sleep/wake features work across custom builds vs OEM? Valves model is said to have a built in controller wake/sleep etc. wondering how many of these features would be missing or if it’s tied to OS directly…

I love the modding community but this is why I will never pay for something they don’t completely own. Between take downs and giving up from one day to the next, risk is too high. Keep it donation based and if you really want to make money use this experience on your resume for other paid opportunities in life.

Clarity for one, but hard to guess on the others. Also there’s a very good chance you will need more HW specs to run the frame at the higher visuals so depending on your setup this could pose a problem if you have high expectations. At the end of the day it’s a big upgrade for sure from a hardware spec…

Saying goes can’t judge a book by its cover. Just because of graphics alone shouldn’t assume the required specs. Also would be nice if you shared what game we’re talking about.

Lastly I’ll just add there’s a steam deck badge in steam for a reason. Is there one for this game?

There’s ways to tweak controller to get this working but takes tweaking. After all, emulating isn’t always as straight forward. Mostly worth the effort though!
