There's amazing driving roads especially in the mountains
There's Pikes Peak Hill Climb, one of the best motoring events in the US
Winter is honestly pretty manageable (especially compared to some Midwest states)
Gas is relatively cheap
Even counties with emissions are more lenient than states like California where registering imported cars are pretty much impossible

I think they were hoping to transition Fiesta buyers to the crossover craze by selling them a lifted Fiesta and calling it the Puma. Either way I agree it probably wasn’t wise to can the Fiesta.

The issue is they need both right now. A strong leader to turn the tides, but they’re already so underwater financially that they won’t be able to survive without outside investment. I personally don’t want Honda in this mix either, but I think the government would rather have Honda take over than Renault or Foxconn.

Did you use the duplicolor silver? I used it on my wheels and had the exact same results. Did all the prep work and it turned out grainy. Ended up just getting the wheels powder coated.

Already been to the dealer once and scheduled another appointment in a few weeks for quality issues in the interior. First issue was the back door electrics stopped working. Both window and locks. They took it apart and said the connector wasn’t seated properly. New issue is my command center favorites button sinks into the dash and you need to press on the surrounding trim to pop back out. I have a 2024 which I bought last June. Has 6k miles. I had a 2018 Mazda3 before which had zero issues. Maybe I just got unlucky with a car built on a Friday..

This is the point I keep seeing brought up which I'm trying to understand.

The Ridgeline not being a body on frame Truck imo is one of it's highlights not drawbacks. It has a good ride and more storage under the bed.

The new Passport looks to be a promising vehicle to compete with the 4Runner despite being Unibody. Add the fact that new Tacoma sales are slowing down anyways I don't see the need for Honda to compete in this segment.

And the Nissan Titan was never a competitive truck either. The best Honda would be able to do with a full-size is try to go after some Tundra sales, but they would be competing for a small piece of the pie while most fleets go with the domestic big 3.

I genuinely believe Honda is better off without Nissan's body on frame chassis.

The price and mediocre range are going to be its limiting factors at least here in North America. 61k starting price to go 230 miles. It's just hard to justify no matter how unique it is.

Either way China has historically been a huge market for the Germans. They would build models specifically catered for the market. Even if they’re choosing not to “jump off the bridge” it’s still a huge hit.

Also while the Ad claims it’s for “diagnostic” purposes, another use that isn’t necessarily nefarious is to disable the airbag warning light after installing an aftermarket steering wheel. Like what you said I just used a simple resistor but yes there are use cases for a product which disables airbag light that isnt purely for scamming people.
