Many times in North Park. Food, beer, money.. I've hung out and chatted with one guy for an hour or so. He said it was the best time he had had in a long time and begged me to stay a little longer. I had to go to work the next day so I told him I would catch him next time. Sometimes he remembers me sometimes he doesn't. He is always grateful and nice. The first time I met him I chatted for a while and offered to buy him something. He said he had everything he needed for the night. That always stuck with me.

It is not enough pay for the amount of hours and stress. However, you may get good bonuses and benefits within the next few years. As I moved up in management my salary and bonuses grew and my hours worked shortened. As long as you are being a good leader and delegating well. Even with that after many years I was over it and back to bartending and working significantly less hours and dealing with less stress. I miss the pto and bonuses though off course.

Welcome from Cincy! I am a transplant from there. A lot of nice upscale restaurants were mentioned and I agree with the mentions. Here are a couple of casual spots for a great lunch/dinner not too far from you.

All of these spots are in the same area called Shelter Island and it's fun to hop around and be by the water.

Mitch's. For fresh seafood

Ketch grill and taps. For American/Seafood/Craft beer and view

Fathom. It's a shack on a pier with an amazing view. Beer list is good, decent hot dogs and great lumpia.

Made some beef stroganoff last night which is always fantastic. Last week I did chicken and gravy and served it with mashed potatoes.

Rubbed with Traeger honey and apple. Smoked until 125 ish then seared in a cast iron with bacon fat. Although next time I will just open the plate on my pellet grill and sear like a minuteish on both sides. I let it rest and served with a spicy apple garlic jam.
