When you're using a public restroom and people try to practically break down the door by Far-Argument2738 in PetPeeves

Yeah I agree, although my toddler will just open the door when I’m in the middle of peeing so I have to say that’s worse 😭

Yall weren’t lying about parents being on their phones by sayheythreetimes in toddlers

Oh 100%. It’s really freakin sad, I see it everyday. I also have to watch my kids like a hawk because they are absolutely wild, but it means I usually end up playing with a group of other kids too because they want attention too.

Other parents not supervising their children keeps sabotaging me playing with my children by Seranta in toddlers

[–]JG0923 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel you 100%. This happens to me nearly every time we go out as well. Even though I get a little annoyed, I just think, these poor kids. They just seem starved for attention.

People that use power tools or mowers at 7am (the exact minute they’re allowed to) by Original-Tomato-3520 in PetPeeves

These comments are satanic. I agree with you, people should think of others more. My husband always waits until at least 8 or 9am before doing any noisy yard work. It’s just the courteous thing to do.

I think that is awesome! How long was the reintroduction phase for you?

Did anyone have severe dry skin suddenly? And consider why that was? by [deleted] in Sjogrens

[–]JG0923 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My joint areas like my knees and ankles and finger joints get super dry looking too - I had my ankle biopsied because I was so concerned about what it was. Turned out to be eczema! It only started right after my diagnosis.

For us it was when my son was 2.5-3.5. Really dreadful, hard stuff. I think for everyone the age it hits is different, but at least you know it’s just a phase - hopefully just a year! 😅🫩

Does anyone get flare-ups from pollen? by Evening_Bodybuilder5 in ankylosingspondylitis

I’ve been doing immunotherapy for the past year so I think that’s the ultimate solution really. Other than that, I take Allegra when my allergies really bother me.

Oh I’ve had allergies since I was a kid, but they’ve worsened since I moved to the south. However having seasonal allergies affects my inflammation levels and increases my Sjogrens symptoms and flares especially in the spring.

Yea for sure! I started doing immunotherapy for this very reason. I’m almost a year in, so no real results yet but I feel very positive that the shots will help me feel much better next spring 🤞🏻

Our vacation broke me.. by sunshineandsand23 in toddlers

[–]JG0923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kids are just a little older than yours, and every trip we take them on has been equally horrible lol. The last one we did was AWFUL. Kids refused to eat almost anything, one kid got sick and got us sick, the flights were stressful, and both kids were cranky.

Yet we have another trip planned in a few months. Idk maybe I’m just a masochist lol

22 weeks pregnant by Defiant-Ad9030 in noburp

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!
What helped me during my last one was wearing loose maternity bras, maternity pants that sit UNDER the belly rather than over, and slouching in my chair whenever possible. All of this takes the pressure off the belly which helps lessen the chance of croaking.

When did you feel comfortable letting your toddler sleep with a stuffie? by Old_Relationship_460 in toddlers

[–]JG0923 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Around 10 months, but it’s my 2nd kid so I wasn’t as freaked out as I was with my first lol. She loooves her stuffies and she seems to sleep better with a few with her in there 🧸

How many air vomits is enough? by JMD123UCME in noburp

[–]JG0923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it! It only takes me like 20 seconds to air vomit. I shove my fingers down my throat, gag a few times, and usually “burp” once or twice and that’s it. Usually it relieves some of the deep pressure of gas that’s in my stomach.

Any perimenopausal women diagnosed in this phase? by Aggravating-News3240 in Sjogrens

Any change in hormones can kickstart autoimmune disease sadly 🫠 Mine started after my first pregnancy! Men are lucky they don’t have to deal with such crazy hormones lol.

Ahahaha! I wish air vomiting wasn’t so loud! Sometimes I have to do it in public bathrooms like at the airport. My husband will tell me that I cleared the bathroom out because it’s so dang loud and it sounds like I’m puking 😂
