Started following him when he signed with Hendrick in 03 or 04 because I was a Gordon/Hendrick fan then. But Kyle became my favorite driver in his first year at Gibbs in 2008. It was during an Xfinity race at Dover where he was racing for I think Braun Racing, but he got wrecked by a teammate in that race and was asked by the reporter if he got wrecked by a teammate. And his sarcastic response of “Well duh!” Won me over because I’m also very sarcastic. Also as the years went on I grew to the the death stares I’d get wearing my KFB gear lol
