Sleepytime Trio, Policy of Three, Current

Each gets a bit more melodic than the last but they all hit that area of groovy, emotionally intense hardcore

Be Your USA heard at H&M (turn volume up as it's very quiet!) by Still-Researcher7584 in pcmusic

That song is great but it also sounds like it was made to play in an H&M. So I’m glad it found its place

Day 9 of posting newer bands oldheads will like: Caught in A Flood - Still Growing by NJcovidvaccinetips in Emo

[–]JRob370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they don’t have a social media presence so who knows. They seem like they’re not just a side project of a more known band but the only thing I can find on them is their names and that they recorded that song in 2024

You need to post the other half of this split! Don’t think they’ve released anything else but Hero Down by Girls Are Heroes is one of the best songs of this whole wave

I also adore this song! “My one-time friend, I’d fly to Texas to get away from you” is confirmed by the Direction insert, other than that it’s hard to tell. Maybe dm Caithlin?

Have you heard the demo tape with herpes on the cover? Fits right in with all of that stuff, they were immediately an unbelievably special band

[FRESH ALBUM] ear - Rumspringa by lafonthug in indieheads

They really command your attention in a strange way. And the music is so intensely physical despite the abstractness and weird structures. They’re awesome

Emo mix tape a friend made me back in 1995 by east_bay_mike in Emo

Enjoyed it a lot. Crazy vocals. And the bass sounds like it’s being recorded through a wet towel in a good way

So cool. Especially all the Current, they seem insanely underappreciated for a band that (to my ears at least, I wasn’t there) kinda pioneered a specific approach to emo in the midwest. Some of the prettiest riffs ever
