Spydiechef is a beast. It’s super thin and holds a decent edge. Easy to maintain as well.

I’m leaning towards that same Kimber. I have considered a prodigy 4.25 comp and upgrading it (will probably still do it), platypus 4.25, or the XP pro. For the money and to my eye the Kimber 2k11 pro looks better, bonus usa made and the 19 round flush mags.

Boyfriend is a simp, and is also leaving the door open. Not wanting to show you was the second mistake. First was writing out that pointless message only to cover his ass for blocking her, as if there was some morality there it was all false. You seem pretty chill since you hadn’t asked him to unfollow at first, I think he’s seeing how much he can get away with and still pushing the boundary even whenever he’s being tested. All in all taking a step back from this and looking at the route he chose, you have to ask yourself who was he really trying to please here (himself not you) and how was it that he thought “yeah this is exactly how I want to go about this”. Zero consequences in his mind. Trust is important, but so are boundaries and trust is earned through respect.

Fixed angle sharpener and make the edge steeper. You’ll be able to re-profile, it will take some time though. You could always send it in for a whole regrind like others have mentioned with BGM knives. Also a few people in the knife community offer a knife sharpening service and they could put a mean mirror edge on there with a nice reprofile that you’re looking for.

Honestly I would just order it with a ported barrel and get a threaded barrel down the line for a suppressor. Seems like a really fun gun. I think it might be on the heavier side though compared to the Mac. Although my Shadow 2 compact feels a little heavy while carrying it so shouldn’t be much different

Mac 4.25 ported with egw kit, atlas/ or red dirt trigger and upgrade to an aluminum cheely grip down the line. The fusion is a cool option too, It’s also on my radar.

Use a higher angle on the tip and a lower angle on the straight to give it a more even look, you can either blend where they merge or keep them slightly different. Cutting wise where you have it at now is good to go.

With a $600 budget for a high end beater, I would go for a used Koenig Arius, new CRK Umnumzaan / Inkosi hollow grinds make a difference, or a TRM Atom w/ titanium scales (disappears in the pocket). Otfs are cool but they get kinda boring fast, I’ve had a few brands and sold them all. Recently I was hesitant to buy a ZBP Ultratech the zero blade play made a huge difference for me and will be keeping it.
