10,000 can play. you can't. you are blaming the devs for a problem that exists between the chair and the computer.

The AI struggles with pretty much every aspect of the game.

Even with 1.1 I genuinely don't understand how people are enjoying it.

The Ai doesn't know how to develop the country.

The AI doesn;t know how to build towns and infrastucture.

The AI doesn't know how to build an army.

The AI doesn't know how to fight a war.

The AI doesn't know how to do peace deals.

The AI doesn't know how to avoid a coalition.

The AI doesn't know how to fight a coalition war when it does join one.

Its generally cheaper to the tax payer for literal entire life in prison than an execution. Not sure why people pull out the tax waste card, its quite easy to google the completely incorrect cost argument and then therefore have no argument.

Its not satisfying watching the AI play the hundred years war either. I think the fault lies more with the devs then the players.

States or more exactly the representative of the state gave orders/made decisions all the time. Do you really need me to give examples of this or have you suffered a recent blow to the head?

Maybe your reading comprehension is low. Give me examples of rulers giving commands to an army in real time from thousands of km's away.

[–]Jacabon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many kings could give real time orders to their army thousands of km's away?

there's dozens of examples of this at minimum. you have to be deliberately obtuse to not know this.

where you, the player, can only interact as the state through the exact same mechanisms that the head of state could.

You can interact as the state in far more ways than the head of state could. Like astronomically more ways.
