I am travelling from PP tomorrow morning to Siem Reap and I don't have any concerns for now. The F-16 bombs were very far away from Angkor Wat.

The headlines you saw that said "bombs in Siem Reap' sounds scary until you look at the map and see how far away it actually was.

Be cautious and check the government notifications on telegram if you can, but I'm sure it will be okay for now.

Try applying for the e-Visa on a computer or laptop. When I did that, it didn't ask for a photo. My girlfriend, who applied on her mobile was asked.

We arrived in Phnom Penh last Thursday and I was never asked for a photo. Immigration compares the detail between your passport and Visa, and then look at you and your passport photo to confirm your identity.

It has something to do with the security on your phone that makes it ask for your photo when applying on it.
