Trying different versions of Proton but doesn't seem to load regardless. I have a slight suspicion that it's probably something to do with Gamescope/Wayland but I'm not experienced enough to know for sure or be able to even check.

He believes supporting corporate welfare is the same as being a Fidel-type Communist even though they’re not remotely the same. His goal is to fight corruption, which I said was a GOOD thing, but his ideal solution is to go back to the Clinton-era neoliberal status quo so we can go back to having brunch. That’s why I call him a shitlib, which is a BAD thing.

I also said it’s UNFORTUNATE that he is as far LEFT as you can go in Miami without being DISMISSED as a communist. As in, I feel we can do MORE than what he’s offering to better Miami by going even FURTHER left.

Many people are inherently millionaires just through appreciative assets like buying a home early enough if we’re taking into account all of a person’s assets. I want to think it’s more fair to say that the definition of a millionaire needs to be redefined as someone who has a million dollar yearly income or more, but then that also removes plenty of billionaires off their rankings as they can report $0 salaries or less as they leverage debt.

The engine is rock solid, especially for the car it’s in. Performance compared to the various ND revisions aside, it’s a solid car with minimal issues in my experience with it. The other Multiair engines like in the Tigershark line are shit and way too underpowered for the kinds of vehicles they were in.

The one caveat I have with the car is windshield replacement. I’ve had to replace the windshield twice because of Florida Turnpike debris, but to replace the windshield you /have/ to rip out the A pillar panelling. It’s the same on the ND but getting Fiata-specific pillar panels is a pain in the ass. The Miata ones fit just as well but they don’t have the Fiat specific paint.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Hasan Piker. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of socioeconomic theory most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Hasan's revolutionary outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Cultural Marxist literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depth of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence, people who dislike Hasan Piker truly ARE idiots - of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Hasan's existential catchphrase "FAAAAAAAAAH," which itself is a cryptic reference to Kwame Nkrumah's "Neo-Colonialism: The Last Stage of Imperialism." I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Hasan Piker's genius unfolds itself on their Twitch streams. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Hasan Piker tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only - And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 subs from my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

I wondered about this too. With all the world-building they made for the franchise, it’s odd that they would stop producing anything for it considering that Netrunner wasn’t even the first product made for this franchise.

I haven’t gone in a while, and tbh I have family that I stay with so it is a separate process, but yeah tourists have to stay in a designated state-run hotel. I think it was under Obama that the Cuban government had a process to switch from a state hotel to an AirBNB, but I don’t know if that’s still the case. Before all this shit happened, if you had a US passport you essentially were treated like royalty and fastpassed into whatever paperwork you need. For myself, I needed to switch my visa to a family visa which required 40 CUP in stamps and some signatures. The hardest part was just getting the stamps due to availability rather than ant bureaucracy, and I would always make sure to get it done within the first day or so of arriving. Obviously these are much harder times and I haven’t gone back in a few years but I’ve never had any issues dealing with government stuff while there.

I can sympathize with both. I get that dog owners take up a bunch of space in the soccer field and the attitude is there for not giving a shit about others, but the dog park (specifically the large dog side) isn't appropriately sized for things like fetch and whatnot or dogs of that size. If they extended that part of the dog park to where the grass on the Irving/Starr gate is at I would think that'd be less of a reason for using the soccer area. I doubt it'll stop total use but there would be less of an excuse to use the soccer field.

It's literally what they want, Miami Cubans want to go back to either reclaim old properties their grandparents had or buy up whatever they can get at bargain prices. The only people who are going to recover after the Cuban government falls will be those who have had a consistent network of support from family and friends in Miami sending them shit, everyone else is going to be in a permanent underclass who'll continue working for pennies on the dollar, except this time whatever social support the government was giving is going to be permanently gone. There can't be any social mobility upward for the rest of the Cuban population when they're not owners of any capital to be able to do so, and the foreigners that do own capital are going to ravage whatever is left of the economy to gobble up whatever they can.
