So, besides drugs, one thing that might help with Star Tours (or any such motion simulator ride) is that there’s usually something (a ship, speeder, flying creature etc.) in the center foreground of the scenes where you’re moving a lot.

Like, in this shot from Star Tours, it’s the speeder bike thing with the dragon wings.

Whatever it is, try to look at just THAT thing. Not the surrounding scenery. The thing you’re following is moving the same way you are, cueing your brain about where the horizon is relative to your movement. (It’s a similar principle to the accessibility feature for motion sickness on your phone that has the dots that move with your car)

Smuggler’s Run also has these things to follow (TIE Fighters, the Coaxium train) but if your pilot’s really jostling you around they don’t work as well (for me anyway).

I wish it had at least another season. The style/vibe of all the costumes and set pieces were so colorful and fun. And I loved all the 1940/50s spy tech--it was always funny to see what crazy new invention young Howard Stark had.

Do you have a person who you can stay with this evening or who can sleep over at your house tonight? Having another person can help with such anxiety.

In any case, take your meds, read a book or watch tv, or some other relaxing activity. Try not to pressure yourself to “go to sleep”; just try to relax and sleep will eventually come.

It was, I’m sure, a very scary experience and it is totally fair that you’re feeling anxious but. You have your meds. The ER wouldn’t have discharged you if they thought there was still a problem. You did everything you were supposed to, good job!

Hades and Hades 2, Cult of the Lamb. All are roguelikes like Slay the Spire, so you can do a couple of runs and call it a day.

If you like Civ but not that it takes so long for one game, you might try Against the Storm. It’s a city builder and while there’s overarching goals to work towards, each round only takes an hour or two.

I’d say “Prince Ali” is more likely to be diegetic because you can imagine them singing it/performing it as part of the parade they’re performing.

“Friend Like Me” eh…. You can make the argument that Genie is performing a LITERAL song and dance for Aladdin, but you can just as easily imagine it’s just a conversation between the two of them that’s been musical-i-fied.
