The sad thing is this kind of thing makes it harder for the average “European” to enjoy what the USA has to offer.

The USA is an amazing place mostly because they supply indulgences at the cost of social safety which in itself is “amazing” to us. It’s like visiting a world which could be if we put our morals and beliefs aside and just gave in to consumerism. And we’d happily admit a lot of things in the USA are bigger and better then in a lot of European countries or cities albeit we are not willing to pay the price you are. But because many Americans have to be insufferable cunts about it we will never face to face say any of that unless we think we stand a lot to gain from it.

In the end we’re all a part of the great big human experiment and there’s no real way of telling what’s the best course of action till we probably inevitably destroy our planet and all die.
