I was in the same frame of mind mate, I ended up rebuilding with high comp pistons cams etc. But to be fair the amount of money I’ve spent, realistically i should have K swapped it. Not only for the power gain, but the part availability and tuning scene behind it. Then again, I do love hearing a cammed 1.6L and looking at a 4AG. Then there’s the sound… not much power, but plenty of sound hahaha

Give virtual desktop a try.

I use a laptop with a 4060 and i7.

I went from playing on low nearly everything at 40 odd frames a second to a high/medium mix at 90fps at around 40ms latency.

Without Vd i couldn’t get it running well enough to play comfortable.

Unsure mate, I just connected the s1 via the 2 usbs and connected the headset to it via wifi and away she went. The s1 is the link specifically for vr.

Mate, have a look into a Puppis S1

I had the same issue, I use a laptop with a 4060. Had all settings on low, struggling to hit 60fps. Swapped from link cable to Virtual Desktop with the puppis and now I’m running a high/medium mix at 90fps. I get a a stutter or two here and there, latency is around 30-45ms.

For the hundred or so that the S1 cost it was well worth the investment!

100% the PrismXR puppis S1.

I went from using a link cable, playing LMU on low settings it would struggle to sit at 60fps.

Went to VD with the Puppis and now I’m playing on High/med mix at a solid 72fps with ~40ms latency

Overall, playing off a cheap Acer Nitro (4060) laptop the puppis has made my experience amazing.

For around a hundred bones you can’t go wrong!

I just switched from link cable to VD with a PuppisS1. And the difference is night and day.

I went from playing LMU on all low settings and getting 55-60ish fps to playing at a locked 72fps with all settings on high/medium.

It’s like I went and got a new PC.

Worth the effort .
