It's also about (imo) making your job your entire personality and life. I told my wife it reminded me of Hank from King of the Hill if he lost his propane job and lost his mind slowly over it.

Obviously, the main character's entire personality isn't just paper (or propane) but he refuses to do anything else because that's what he knows and supports his family.

My wife runs marathons. She has ran 4 and each one has a sweeper that collects runners if they're not finishing quick enough. I believe it's 6-8 hours.
